this version for sure! I'm amazed at the background and rain drops. soo soo good. and the different styles do really make the character pop.

I hope no one thought I said it was a rip of Oswald, it just looks like Oswald that was my first thought when I saw it. Also as stated some where earlier in this thread most characters of that time had a very similar appearance.

I like that classic cartoon look.

For some reason this reminds me of Hellsing and an alucard-esque pose + blood splatter. Great work.

I'm pretty sure its a guys shirt template I have. But I'm pretty sure they still use American Apparel shirts that are really nice and fit well. I like a shorter sleeve length too, and both the mens and womens seem to be that way.

I was looking around last night, and it appears that a lot of the new 3d home videos use the green-red glasses, rather than the traditional red-blue... so I'll probably leave the color halos on the sides they're on now in the sep file.

Now here's hopin' we find out how well the printed ink colors pop, when compared to the brighter output of our monitors...

Personaly I think this is on theme purely for the silver screen classic poster feel... however it keeps reminding me of Treasure Planet for some reason. LOVE that movie but still there really weren't any strong female characters in that movie except the captain and she wasn't a pirate.

This is awesome! Easily the cleverest design submitted so far...

I can't see this lasting as an entry. 2001 came out in the theatres way later than the silver screen era. Plus the iPod is a HUGE anachronism.

From what I have seen of woot being off theme is only sometimes a rejectionable offense however breaking any of the random rules is an automatic rejectionable offence. Moral of the story Theme means nothing and random rules mean everything.

Wow thanks a lot for the amazing support!!, never thought this was going to do it this far and certainly not that fast, I was totally aware it was too late to submit but just wanted to be part of the 200th derby celebration so thanks a lot!! , will try to post a bigger view later today!
