apparently they started the 5k last week some time but people only realized it when poison debuted and passed the 3k mark on the first day.
Oooh! I'm so glad this printed! But I look terrible in navy. Oh the indecision
...and that's what would have happened if I had invented the finglonger... love this shirt
congrats!!!
Congrats guys, you did an amazing job here!
That's not Bender, that's his evil twin......oh, wait, that's the GOOD twin.
Congrats Robbie and Kasey! I love it when good art wins.
Congrats for a super shirt!
Parody of the highest calibre. This is the Police Squad of t-shirts. Congrats Kasey and Robbie!
I hope that's the transport mode of the future. Who couldn't handle catching up on sleep in the arms of your own robot before starting work...on another planet. 'A' grade concept and execution from a designing dream team.
Dammit, woot! First Poison and now this? I'm on a tight budget here, you know.
Bender has his "I'm-going-to-molest-the-crap-out-of-her" face on - it's seriously that creepy

Yes, but Robbie did appear in an episode of "Lost in Space".
Oh man. I'm in the middle of a Futurama rewatch, too. This shirt is going to give that a whole new feel.
Woot should just have an "I want to automatically purchase any shirt from this artist" option, seeing how I bought Robbie's last 4 derby prints too. (Anyone have an extra Tofu shirt in MXL, ML, or M2X they want to trade/sell? I could use a second or third copy, seeing how often I'm wearing the one I already have ...)
I wish Woot sold posters in addition to t-shirts, because I would love a poster of this! The t-shirt sizes are always so awkward for me.

Same year, but AFTER!
"Forbidden shmer-shmidden! What are they gonna do, write a letter? Oooh, I'm so scared!"

It's funny that these three words make me chuckle every time I hear (or read) them.
That's the bigger BOB I've ever seen, no wonder she looks exhausted.
glazedfaith wrote:I lol'd so hard. That is a quality post. EDIT: As a matter of fact, there should be a "nominate for quality post" button.
I was surprised no one said it before me haha
Congrats, Robbie and Kasey! With the two best artists here collaborating it would be quite sad for this to have missed printing.
This shirt is just amazing. This has to be one of the more quality shirts with a reference to a TV Show. On a side note, seriously is there a ban on Futurama in Wyoming or something?
nice shirt, Woot is making me buy too many lately =/
Glad this printed! Purchased! Now Propzilla needs to be next.
I am absolutely thrilled this got printed! Beautiful work and absolutely hilarious. I hope John DiMaggio finds this.
Funny, I've seen many good shirts rejected for being too close to copywrited images. How'd this one get through?? Would have been better if lela was naked lol.
chalion wrote:That's not Bender, that's his evil twin......oh, wait, that's the GOOD twin.
Nope, it's the real Bender. It can't be his twin on the shirt as he's missing the goatee...
Don't stop.
Loved the write-up! Woot writers, you collectively rock! It almost made me want to buy the shirt. I find it funny, but my son thought it was a little too PG-13 for him ... and I will not attempt to put a Futurama theme on MY middle-aged chest ^o.^
I like the juxtaposition of a less idealized robot vs. a highly idealized girl. Yum.

Fly your geek flag proudly. I bought one for my middle aged chest, plus one for my geriatric chest.
Flexo actually turns out to be the good twin. leaving the audience feeling Lamuellan for not figuring that out. Great shirt by the way.

It doesn't matter, Flexo's dead.
Print needed...and by print I mean mural sized!

Well I know comedy central doesn't mind. They put this shirt on their countdown to Futurama premiere page. http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2011/05/25/futurama-fanarama-forbidden-future/

Agreed - I'd love a print of this, especially if it went all out with the full movie poster trimmings.
So I got mine in yesterday and the print is way bigger than the how it is displayed on the site. Usually Woot does a good job with size ratios. I really like the design but I hate shirts with designs that use the whole shirt. I'll probably wear this one a couple times then put it on Tee Trade.

For future reference, look at this part of the writeup next time:
Design Size: 3X – S: 14.41” x 17.14” WXL - WS: 11.00” x 13.08” K12 - K4: 9.00” x 10.70”
totally already did it: http://kiramane.deviantart.com/art/The-Day-Capek-9-Stood-Still-73309331?q=gallery%3Akiramane&qo=4 admittedly the art is nice, but been there done that :P
