VERY good job of doing a visual pun without needing the title to be displayed in order to be funny. That is an excellent and quite rare talent on this site.

From here on out, penguins will just look incomplete to me without tiny historical outfits.

Wear this when you go see the new Jim Carrey movie, Mr. Popper's Penguins.

Until he meets up with the seal mongol hordes.

Like all tactful portraitists Naolito chooses a low viewpoint to de-emphasize the subjects height besides all it's loyal subjects.

I'm not a fan of the color choice... normally I like the light blue... but not with this penguin for some reason....

Hmmm, I wonder how that soft white background shape will print? It seems really light.

OK... I know it is 1 AM and I've been up since 7 AM, and I'm really really tired, and was about to go to bed, but is there something about this shirt that I'm not getting?

I read the comments and the write-up.

It's a Julius Caesar penguin... I don't get the pun. I'm so confused.

EDIT: The title is the... OH! I totally get it now. I blame it on lack of sleep... Ok, not really that funny to me. Not going to buy one, but I'd wear it if it comes in my Random Shirt Trifecta next time...

The title says it all.

I'm also not feeling the color. It just doesn't mesh well with the colors and I'm also a bit worried about the white actually being visible.

Plus, "we call this color royal blue" is a hell of a lot better pun than whatever was in the actual write-up.

Impressive background of the ice. Subtle, but visible.

I just wonder how it will turn out on the t-shirt though.

Not likely. There are no penguins in the Northern Hemisphere unless you count zoos (and the tiny part of the Galapagos north of the equator).

Also, I'm pretty sure that's an albatross or a similar sea bird.

Honestly, there's a shirt in the double-take derby this week that does this concept in a way I enjoy more and on a color I'd rather wear. I'd have bought that as an editor's choice but will pass on this one.

Or that the laurel wreath is so last season. (Not to mention non-native, but we digress.)

I shamefully admit the first thing that came to mind for me was a certain time-traveling Whifferdil.

"All hail Frobisher! All hail the big talking bird!"

And, esoteric Doctor Who references aside, I never could resist a pun. Well played, good sirs.

Anybody remotely interesting is mad in some way.

Maybe because there's no such place as "Antartica" -- it's Antarctica, with 2 'c's.

Your linework is particularly strong on this shirt, Naolito. Really sharp sense of shape and dimension.

Great to see you printing more often! :^)
