Hey guys, this is my first derby entry ever.

Spirit, I think this looks great. The effort involved is leagues above most of the other fogged entries and it looks awesome on the shirt. I'm personally not into Cuthulu stuff but I'd definitely buy this for my kid. As for the off topic question...I can't argue on any of that as I don't think Woot seems to be very picky about that stuff anymore and a lot of artists tend to slide through (the Cyberpunk derby being especially obvious) so I don't really get all the crits coming at you on that end. People just seem more annoyed than usual?

I usually don't like when the design forms a rectangle, it can look pretty strange on a shirt. But this one works great and it definitely makes sense, especially since you made the extra effort to incorporate the whole painting and not just the screaming ice cream cone. There's something really unique about the atmosphere you were able to create, great job.

Look at it this way; a portly foreigner prances about a world populated by mushroom people (the mushroom kingdom) of many varieties. there are the mushrooms with arms and legs, which we can safely assume are the "adult" mushrooms of this kingdom due to their size. So where/what are the young? Since mushrooms reproduce asexually there are no male/female mushroom people, the only distinction that can be made is between young and old, small and large. Hm... I like the green one better, because the tomato stands out better, but that's just me.

Hm, there are still more than 6 colors used. I recognize seven colors at least:

1) black
2) yellow
3) orange
4) green
5) brown
6) white
7) magenta

8) gray? (mixture of black and white?)

good idea and nice try with paint. look for the free downloads inkscape and gimp, they are similar to illistrator and photoshop.
