Re: Search Function

I love the concept behind this and the expression on the wizard's face is amazing.

I don't think however that the electronic device really adds to the shirt. It looks out of place and I think the shirt would have been just as funny with out it.

rogerx3 almost always gets my vote. This one is no exception. Might not print unless voters with taste wake up, but it'll be an HM for sure.

Wow, what a coincidence. I just happened to watch that episode of The Twilight Zone this morning! :-O

goatcane wrote:Really? You think Melville was taking an "immature and needless jab at people's deeply held beliefs" when he published Moby boghog?

Perhaps every literature professor is secretly anti-religion, right? Moby boghog is an allegory. I can't help it if you didn't see anything past a story about a whale.

Here's the Cliffs Notes version for you;

Whale = Jesus/God

The whole novel was about a man trying to find meaning, trying to find reason, and ultimately obsessed with vengeance against a god who he believes wronged him and (worse) abandoned him.

lol what a newb. Is this what your high school english teacher told you? You miss the point that literature can be interpreted in a multitude of different ways and often, no single interpretation is correct, unless explicitly stated by the author. I don't think a correct understanding of the book necessarily requires a strict interpretation of "whale = jesus/god." To quote the film the big lebowski, "that's just, like, your opinion, man." Also, learn to form your own opinions and stop regurgitating someone else's interpretation
Additionally, pretty sure I saw this get rejected in a past derby a while back...

Re: Take A Look

I actually like this idea and think you should resubmit it with an accurate thumbnail since that is all that it was rejected for

It's not too late for the design it to take the derby by surprise and for it to reach the fog

In the glow of his flashlight, his imagination comes to life! Bastian and the Neverending Stories. Mine was "Tanglewood Tales" by Nathaniel Hawthorne. He got me hooked on Greek Mythology and sent me looking for Homer.

I love this design and want to buy it for every student in my Literature class, for my kids who love 'Where's Wally?' and for me because 'The Little Prince' is such as wonderful read. I really hope this wins, it outshines all the others!

Cthulhu Sleeps. But what if he can’t sleep? Has something on his mind? Or an upset stomach? Maybe he does what I do and reads.

have the detail link up later.
this is green version on grass green.

I think the details are too fine that it won't print.

Also, you placed it too high on the shirt. It needs to not be on the collar.
