I get it, but I also don't get it. Is it referencing something on the interwebs, or is it just stand-alone ridiculous. It is pretty funny, and there are at least a few other t-shirt possibilities in the comment thread.

Biplane = Could be The Little Prince or almost any of the Richard Bach books - Biplane? Illusions? Bridge Across Forever?

Agreed - without the text it still makes perfect sense and doesn't actually list the derby theme.

There's a clockwork orange as well as the oranges and lemons.

Also: Yellow has a Yellow Hat and banana for Curious George.

Beautiful design- there's so many good elements that I suspect this will be selling for a while.

Love the illustration; hate the text. I think the drawing can stand on its own two legs. . . . so to speak.

Edit: also, the text might be legally protected.

I think this is very funny to look at on a computer screen, but are people not at all concerned that others will look at your shirt and think you are ignorant or brainless? I'm sorry, but having something blatantly incorrect branded on your chest without any sort of punchline following it just makes zero sense to me.

I like the concept and most of the execution, but the ruby slippers annoy me. That's a movie reference; they are silver in the book.
