drakosflame wrote:...I'm going to assume you haven't had sufficient coffee or caffeine yet. Many people are afraid of bees. Bees have a stinger on their hind end. Bees also don't wear clothes (as far as I know). Furthermore, Honey Nut Cheerios is not the first - or the last - to have drawn a cartoon bee (though apparently their marketing team did a great job with you). So, if we follow simple logic, we see much reversed here. The bee is afraid of the human coming in for a perfect bee-like butt attack. Now, was that so hard?

Wow. I feel like you took that way too seriously.

Thanks much! I can't be too hard on the GIMP, it is free after all. Its fine for simple things, but you are right about it being really frustrating compared to PS.

Which begs the question ... does it pass the "no pop culture" rule?

Yes I think it does because fairy tales are okay. It seems that nursery rhymes would fall into the "folk tale" category as well.

Re: Killer Penguin

The artwork is as good as ever but the orca and the penguin look a little disconnected. It reminds me a lot of a movie poster for a summer action blockbuster where they kind of superimpose action shots from different scenes to make everything look super exciting! Maybe that was what you were going for but I think I'd like to see more integration.
