If you didn't figure it out it is a classic male-female role reversal in the form of dance. I really wanted to see a version of this that was elegant instead of comedic.
Most of it is in halftone. I hate shirts with large masses of ink so doing it mostly in halftone lets it breathe and gives me the shading I wanted.

not based on anyone in particular, everything was hand-drawn then edited by your's truly.

My first reaction was homosexuals. It misses the point entirely if you must explain it. The traditional shoes and lack of cleavage on the guy are not enough. I've had hair that long (I'm male) and a half decent push-up bra could get me that kind of cleavage. Too vague as guy-guy or girl-girl or girl-guy.

I love the moment when a bully discovers that the kid he's picking on turns out to be tougher than he bargained for. The hunter becomes the hunted! The nerdy character is modeled slightly after myself.

This was done with ink, then colored in photoshop.

If you enjoy this, I'm working on a comic with the blond kid. He wants to be a super hero, but finds that it's a lot harder than his comic books make it look. You can read his adventures so far on my deviantART gallery:

i would say that portraying the kids as the cannibals and the witch as dinner would easily constitute a role reversal. in fact who's to say this isn't their house and she wasn't the one lost in the woods, after all i only see one basket of bread crumbs.

I would buy this shirt in an instant for my husband and several friends! And how can you not get the role reversal?! Bacon and a happy heart do not usually get along! The only thing that could make this better is if the bacon had a face too. But I love it anyway! Maybe a resubmit with a bacon face and have the title say "Bacon gives you a healthy heart" or something like that, instead of "cholesterol damage."

so are you saying that the anatomy should be more exaggerated? The facial features off? Just because you'd make a passing drag queen doesn't dispute the fact that you're saying you'd be trying to look female (I.E. saying that that the figure does indeed appear to be presenting itself as female). A little clarification of the specific points you're drawing from (pun intended) would be helpful.

Pa-lease, ya'll! There are at least 4 people that googled "Role reversal" and did shadow puppets. This is original.
This shirt has it's own merit. It's original because of the characters and the execution, not because of the idea.
So what, it's an old parody done with fresh eyes and a skilled hand. The girl looks great and the robot is Spot-on, but that backdrop is just beyond bold & wonderful, Gr8 colors scheme! This is an instant classic and I would wear one just to be in the club!

I've done this to my puppy, because he pounced on my face when I was in a sound slumber. I didn't jummp on his face, but I startled him when he was having puppy dreams.
