ChaosDoctor07 wrote:This...Sort of. From wikipedia(read the original German version a few years ago, but this seems correct from what I remember):"Gretel instantly shoves the witch into the oven, slams and bolts the door shut...Gretel frees Hansel from the cage and the pair discover a vast treasure and precious stones. Putting the jewels into their clothing, the children set off for home..."

If the witch was caged up, and the children were getting reading to eat her, then the "role reversal" part might hold true. In this case, where it is implied that the witch has been killed(and is in the oven), the situation portrayed is too similar to the original source to be considered a reversal.

Yes, but they didn't want to eat her in the original fairy tale, they went home. This shirt implies that they do want to eat her.

I'm not sure though.

Re: white knight

Nice drawing! Just add more colors in the fire and on the characters and this would be excellent.

Wow, that is really clever (or I'm really slow). I was all all like "how is this role reversal...oh...OH. LoL."
Yea, everyone else probably gets it instantly.

What good is an umbrella that rains on you? Especially if you're a cat that hates water!

Re: Stay Sharp

Ha, like others have said, it's a touch on the disturbing side, so many ideas I was coming up with were like this. Fruit plucking human heads off trees, for example.

But you've pulled this off nicely, a lot of humor and charm that keeps it from being too creepy.

Uh, wow. I did not expect this to fog. Frankly, I didn't have time to finish and knew I wouldn't have any chance to with the big weekend coming up. So I just threw it out there. I guess this proves you just need a good idea!
