Got a text from niece while I was on the way home "Are you cooking tonight?"

Translation: "we have nothing to cook/eat, but I don't want to ask you to spend $$,yet I am hungry"

picked niece, nephew & niece bf up. I was right. Nephew ate the last of the gumbo and sis hasn't been to store.

pulled out the frozen crock pot santa fe chicken cooked some rice and all were happy.

Good morning everybody! I'm looking for long sleeves and jackets to take to Boone this weekend. I wonder if I can fit into my jeans? We made an offer on a foreclosure yesterday. House needs a lot of work but it has an unobstructed lake view! The combination of the lake and the long range mountain view is very nice. The previous owners left the water running in the bathroom when they left so there is damage to the hardwood floor for hubby to repair. Luckily the real estate agent found it and got the water cut off before it got too bad. The AC has been on so I didn't go into an allergy fit. We made a low, low offer so we will see.

So I fell asleep foruming last night and missed all the excitement.

Culturally, I've always liked healthy nether regions, and I've always made a damn fine tzatziki.

Probably too late, but here it is anyway...
Use Greek Yogurt and pickling cucumbers.
Not sure what you strained, but straining the cuke pulp is imperative to get the excess water out, or else you get a watery mess not fit for consumption. Also, using pork chunks makes it a souvlaki. Gyro is processed meat.
