Whew! Just got it worked out on FB with Mayvn about my Bundle of Crops. She's going to send it to me. How lucky that Tuesdays are the only days she's on a computer and can thus chat on FB; otherwise it's her phone. There's a number of people that I can't get through to on FB because they're on their phone. I wonder why.

The phone app doesn't show the chat request right away--it only updates every 30 minutes or so (for mine, anyway, you can set it to whatever value you want). It doesn't pop up in the same window like it does on the computer. So, by the time I know I have a message, the other person is usually long gone.

Edit: check Facebook, tagging a pic of the box for you. Light, but BIG!

Back from the post office and errands.

Starting to cool off--thankfully, it didn't get as hot today. Clouding up, might rain again.

That would be nice. I didn't get one. Have they given out any since they were taken over?

After complaining yesterday how my local usps stinks and the smartpost packages don't come for 3-5 days after they get to my local post office figures they'd prove me wrong and for the first time ever show up on the day that my post office received it. lol

1- reusable shopping bag (black with white dots)
1- kids shirt with some kind of green alien on it
1- IGO universal car/home charger
3- Kids rub-n-color activity kits

IGO says that you have to buy "tips" separately. Anyone know what that is?

iGo tips

The piece you have is what connects to the wall or charger in your car. You get a tip to fit whatever you are charging and it attaches to that bit. I have one for my car and one for the house, I really like them. In the car, I have 2 devices so can charge either with just a change of tips. Much easier, less crap to have around.

Thanks all for the advice. Hang on for all the treatment posts, as there will be some I'm sure!

Hugs and power tools, Dad and I should be able to talk that way. Do paint sprayers count as power tools?

Frantically finishing prep work on the house. It's going to look so nice when we are all done. Just in to supervise nap (ie hold the baby) and get some food. I always forget to eat when I'm working on stuff.

Took Ver1 to get a filling at the dentist. I have to do it again in 3 weeks. Lord help me!!! She bawled from the second they put the laughing gas on through the whole thing. The dentist tried her best to keep it upbeat and keep her calm. I get very sick with laughing gas, but because she was freaking out I had to sit right next to her and hold her hands.... yeah I came home and was very thankful for having skipped breakfast.

It's the nature of the biz; any number of things can get one escorted out while an investigation is initiated; I'm not worried anything like that is likely to happen, but in that environment, they tend to err on the side of caution rather than trust.

So far //crossing fingers// the only one who's unfriended me is a granddaughter. She grew up some. Now, there may be people that have me blocked or partially blocked.

My bifocals are lined. I asked about getting progressive and my optician said the peripheral would be more blurry than what I'm used to, would have to turn my head more.

Yeah, but I think that is like what happened to Zilla. He tightened his settings and we got dropped. Not that he tightened thinking he would drop us.

Hi!

kdc, are you going by the names on your friend list?

Only asking because I thought three people unfriended me a few weeks back and then two of them told me they didn't. I didn't know that I had to change my settings under my edit friends list. I believe I posted about that here and how to fix it. The non showing ones that I thought had unfriended were due to some kind of changes on fb side.

In case it's just because they aren't on your current friend list you might want to go to "Account" then "Edit Friends" and if the box under where it says friends says "Recently Interacted" then it needs to be changed to "All friends" so you can see all friends that you still have. Have a feeling you probably already know this but thought I'd mention it just in case you didn't.

Yeah - I checked. I was really and truly unfriended.

Thanks for the info though - I sometimes forget that and the setting reverts itself sometimes it seems.

I think it's more Zilla's friends' pictures that I liked. I don't think Zilla's pictures were that great. And his friends have tightened their settings.
