We decided to go to Starbucks in the rich neighborhood. They have outdoor seating. plus it looks like rich white people aren't afraid of dogs.
So we took Rusty to sit outside.

Starbucks has tiny little cupcakes.

Thin women aren't eating any cupcakes and they aren't big enough for anyone else!

I need to go make bread, want to make cookies.... my kitchen is a disaster as it's been neglected while traveling and working on painting....Ver3 is not napping, lovely.

Time to start dinner. Something new again. Chicken braised in garlic and white wine.

Haha, Kitchen got a quick run. I get to go buy new bread pans (old bread pans were garage sale buys in college and mainly used for meatloaf), which means that my baking is welcome and liked by the house! Need more recipes now.

Bread is rising. Wonder if I can overnight it in the pans.... it's supposed to be doable with this recipe (not finicky at all).

Next up is either getting the desk out of the office that I sold to my friend a while ago and haven't delivered or starting on the living room, which is getting a new texture job and paint. -- all the parts of which are taking up space in said living room.

I'm trying to find his friend Buddy. Buddy's mom is a MD and son needs his physical this week. Figured I could ask.

Son hates our doctor. I'm not sure what he would think about a women. Especially one he sees in real life. But he doesn't even live here. So he wouldn't use her anyway.

Backup plan is the doc in the box. Insurance won't pay for that .

Our Doctors office said they would fit him in, then never called back in a week.
We know it is a favor.
Hubby did two favors for our doctor. Of course, our guy was on vacation and his brother doesn't know about the favors.
Hubby is mad.

How did a physical become so much drama????

Everyone agreed that a kid really wouldn't know that physicals need to be booked a few months in advance. It is odd. If you are sick, you just call and go that day, or the next.


It is getting dark out. I better walk Rusty.

what kind of health insurance (if any) does son have? who can he see? why does he need the physical this week and not a little later?

Not too bad, thank you. Spent about an hour floating in the pool. That weightlessness does wonders.

When I was at The Who concert a couple of years ago there was lots of blue smoke despite the no smoking rules.
Same when I was at Fleetwood Mac. Lot's of 40 and 50 year olds trying to relive their youth.

Because he has known since Jan, he needed one for school. He will be working with children this year.

Because young people have no clue three weeks isn't enough time to schedule a exam.

Our doctor and his brother are on vacation. Only one in each week, covering for them self and the brother. So, they are extra busy.
The guy who knows hubby has done him favors, wasn't in last week.

Because even at son's work, everyone is on vacation, so once he is scheduled for days this week, he can't change it.

The schedule came out today.

Plus son is 2 or 3 hours away. I think the doctor thinks he will just call and say be here in an hour.

BECAUSE NOTHING IS EVER NORMAL AND EASY!!!!!

You know you could just let son deal with it! Give him the doctor list from your insurance or better the URL where he can get it himself, and say better get calling!

I really should call the optometrist, only one that has to go is me, but I like to get the kids checked too. No insurance makes it expensive, but my insurance never really covered it before anyway. New guy charges more than the old guy (who moved).

Need to go have my meds checked, I run out soon. Blood test is expensive and the meds almost feel like they are the right dose for the first time all year.... two months ago I was always tired, couldn't function for more than 4 hours, now I get at least 7 or 8 hours, uggh!
