My son stole my books from high school.
Well, he claims he borrowed them.
When I asked why he didn't just buy them for his kindle, he said he likes real books better.
So at 24 he is already falling behind the times!

He better bring them back!

Two game shows in two days said Steinbeck had to rewrite Of Mice and Men, from memory. His dog ate the first manuscript!

Son took that one too.
Plus ALL my Vonneguts.

Plus, a new copy of A Tree Grows In Brooklyn.
Honestly I always thought of that as a girls book.

At lest when Daughter was taking the subway to her internships in college, she just borrowed them.

If you get a seat, the subway is a great way to get a few hours a day of reading in!
If you don't get a seat, the subway is awful.

What kind of books? School books? Fiction?

Some days are a total waste of makeup.

This isn't her first woot name.

She is a strong contender for the bubba, but it would have to be a very looooooooooooooooooooooooooooog range plan.

Then again you have been collecting information since 05!

You waited until we stopped worrying about the evil internet and then made your move!

Unless you didn't.

Good morning everybody! Walked with a short jog. Hubby is jogging farther than me. His legs are longer. We jogged 1/4 mile then rested then another 1/4 mile yesterday. Today the top of my feet hurt. I only jogged 1/4 mile today. I can't believe I'm trying to jog. FYI the heat index was 125 at the next community inland yesterday afternoon. Feels much cooler today. Tomorrow we are going to drive back to the mountains for a couple of meetings then maybe come back to the beach for one more week before school starts.

That's how I started jogging too. I'd set a distance to go, jog as far as I could, then walk until I could jog again, until I'd done the whole distance.

Good for you!

I could run a half mile at the start, too. ;)

Jogging is great for your body, though. The impact helps build stronger bones and joints. I had to wear knee braces at first, but within 3 months, my knees quit hurting entirely, and all my back pain went away.

I'm impressed that your knees stopped hurting. I know it helps my back. I'm hoping it will help my anxiety. I really want to crawl into bed and cover my head up. Not bad enough for medication but bad enough that I don't like it. It makes hubby feel better too so that makes me feel better!

Now that I am fine - no pain - no problem, I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I can recite what I am going to hear about exercise, diet, etc., etc. Read in the paper today about a lady 100 years + who is keeping young looking with all of the botoxy stuff. Geesh, you would think there is a point where you can just be you.

I think Botox is gross!

We've been cleaning the condo. I clean the glass doors and either a cat or dog or daughter or hubby put a paw or a nose or a hand on them.

The children are amused by smashing their face into the windows by the door.

I am not amused by it.
