The tale of the toy peddler is wonderfully depicted here. Some say the story goes back to the middle ages, and that even our modern notion of Santa Claus is a "good guy" version, but here the creepy weirdness of the tale stays intact. Beautiful artwork!

Closer to the comp, yes, but dark details still disappear into the shirt. I know from experience, as I had a print on olive where even a large block of a dark colour was difficult to tell apart from the shirt. I picked a really dark green though, so hopefully black would do better - but I wouldn't be optimistic about it.

Your troll freaks me out. I lovvvvvve it. This is a shirt with sweet artwork AND something I would wear as a shirt. I've seen a lot of shirts in the fog (this and previous derbies) that are beautifully drawn, but wouldn't bother buying. This is totally an exception. +1
