a bit of a twist on Puss in Boot/The Master Cat.
Taken with a manga look and a bit of steampunk flair. Puss is more of a musketeer of sorts.

Design is too similar to

for my tastes.

OHFireRescue wrote:I'm not concerned with the pentagram (or not), but do have some reservations about the number of chain ends. An odd number (3) only makes sense if the other end is attached to the moon, and based on the look none of the chains wrap around in what looks like any kind of sense.

Do to the angle the chains are coming off the moon I would say there are 3 chains total (=6 ends). And the ends unseen are hooked to their chain to keep them from slipping off the moon.

Re: Red Revenge

That leg is bothering me something fierce.

Ramy, this is a serious question -

you've got people who would actually buy this shirt, and others you've submitted in the past, if you'd just fix a glaring illustration problem and re-sub.

It's not like your design wouldn't cork back up to the top. You have your fans.

SO WHY DO YOU NEVER, EVER FIX THE PROBLEMS AND RESUB?

Ramy could, with likely very few consequences. He could submit just about anything and it'd pop right up.

It's more of a "respect the customers" and "grow as an artist" thing.

I was drawing a lot of custom tattoo art for a while, and I noticed problem areas. So, too, did my friends and clients. Rather than saying, "eh, it's fine because I must have done it right the first way and my customers are making illegitimate complaints," I fixed the problems.

I don't see the problem with fixing an egregious error that's bothering potential customers. Is it bad to, acknowledge, and *gasp* accept helpful criticism, particularly when everyone has made it abundantly clear EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?

paulkremer wrote:I like this concept, but something is bothering me about this. It took me a few seconds, and then I realized that although you clearly took time to shape them well, her legs are disproportionate to the rest of her body. Her thighs are almost the same size as her midsection. Maybe that's picky, but it's kind of bugging me.

Well, it doesn't bug me, and frankly I am kind of insulted considering my thighs are LONGER than my midsection, when I pull my knees to my chest they are a good six inches above my shoulder.

What DOES bug me, though, is I'm pretty sure we've seen this design before, and I'm pretty sure it printed. At least something irritatingly similar.

Looooooove this design. Baba Yaga has always been one of my favorite fairy tale characters, and having her house on a shirt would be amazing.

Drakxxx:Idea and drawing
CrescentDebris:Colors and edits

Last week we gave you some quick designs. This week we give you one all out, balls to the tablet design of meticulous hand drawn and colored detail. Both Drakxxx and I put a ton of time into this one for the Drak/CD fans. I don't plan on being around next weekend so I'll likely not take part in the next derby. Lastly, my completely biased opinion is that we've overdue for a print. Vote hard my friends. Thanks.
