5 colors on Baby Blue Woot! tee.

Thanks for all of those who helped refine the idea into the final design...Kami!

Like a fine wine connoisseur, most chemists delight in their favorite mixture.

I'd appreciate any feedback anyone has. Thanks!!

Re: A Deadly Mixture!!!

Maybe I should have called this "Mixing Stupidity With Chemistry = Death".

Believe it or not this combination actually happens a lot, because some geniuses out there seem to think this is a great cleaning agent. But even sniffing a little of the gas that is produced can kill or cause permanent respiratory damage.

I want to say what this combination is but I too many cookies some one to actually try this. LOL not that I believe you would.

Hey are certain words not allowed in our comments? Because I just had some of the text I typed changed and I am not going to go back and correct it.

Or is it just me?

It's part of woot's filters. Happens with many words and often changes.

Guys, I tried to pm the artist about this, but Nyancat is very, very protected at this point. The original owner of the image has filed for copyright/trademark on it, and from what I heard/read, they are actively forcing the removal of all parody of Nyancat. There's some other artists who did Nyan parodies and they were forced to remove their shirts from sales sites.

I love this image, but I dont want anyone in trouble. There's other artists confirming that indeed, the Nyancat owner, as well as the company producing apparel for Nyancat, are not allowing these images for sale.

Sorry ;_;. The only reason Im posting this here is so other artists are aware of the situation.

Re: Estrogen

Glad to see you chose estradiol for the shirt. Go woot ladies!

Hopefully the vote ratio will help demonstrate that there are more woot women than some might think based off of how many "women's" shirts are purchased. In spite of my female-ness, I still prefer unisex/"men's" shirts.

most caffeine based shirts are too simple or too cartoony for my taste. this one kinda grabs me.

I'd probably buy it for my sister.

It's not so much a joke about Dr.Horrible as much as it's a "I love that web thingy and wanted to make a shirt that honored its awesome-ness" kind of thing. That's all. Hopefully your sister will get the chance to have one. We'll see.

I haven't been on shirt.woot terribly long. Has Woot ever floated the idea of an increasing-length Derby ban for entries rejected as plagiarism?

People make mistakes, people are young and dumb and haven't had to deal with the rules before, so the first time could be a month. But the second could be six, because you know better now.

I know there's long-standing drama about people with prior incidents. I just wonder if this came up as an option, or if it was all "BAN THEM FOREVER" vs. "Whatever."

Re: Golden Union

Honestly, this is my favorite design of all that I've seen for this derby. Enough that I'd buy it, despite my distaste for unionized labor. Unfortunately, what does it for me is the HP references. I'd have rather seen something like Paracelsus or some famous early chemist mentioned before a couple of imaginary literary characters when the rest is basically tied to historical references. The literature just seems out of place. But, that's just my opinion. Still, a great design overall.

Do people still listen to Fatboy Slim? I admit, this is probably the one album (albeit insert "Chemistry") that I still listen to on occasion.

Glad some people have enjoyed it. I new it would get rejected, but I thought it was too funny to pass up submitting. I tried to do it in a style that wasn't overly vulgar, so hopefully no one was too offended by it.

Hi,

Don't get mad of me, I did this alternative version, just because I know the other don't going to make it, and I think prefer this more wearable version.

Anyway, thanks for your comment, support and tomatoes.

I think react might just get up there. I know it was 10th and 11th earlier, but as the top shirts pull away, React might just get enough late votes to make the top 3.

Re: Adam Antium Forever Tattoo

5 colors on Eyeliner Black: Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sepia.

Adam Ant and Wolverine have a lot in common, so I did a mash-up tattoo. Adam Ant’s logo in the 80’s was the Jolly Roger and the bones cross to make an “X”. Wolverine’s bones are coated with Adamantium, the hardest substance in the known Universe, and he is an X-men Mutant.

Adam Ant’s tattoo is an upside down heart with a dagger through it, so I went with that. I used classic tattoo flames to frame the design. Hope you like it.
Vote, so this can print!
