As a gambling addict, I really like the playing card appearance, and as a fat guy, I really like the food theme. This shirt has it all.

Excellent writeup to promote the shirt! One of the very best and humorous ad copies I have seen on Woot... Keep up the good work.

I understand using a white shirt to get he correct color background for a playing card.

But if you are going to grill with this shirt on, it will show every splatter of grease and sauce, every smear of charcoal dust.

Which I would wear as a badge of honor.

But.

Less so the sweat stains from the heat. Which is why I usually avoid white t shirts anyway.

I like the shirt. I'll pass.

drawgood wrote:Hi, I need to ask a question. I've bought 3 or 4 woot shirts so far, and they're cool but their art is kind of like iron-on or glue-on. I dont mean to say its bad quality, but what is this application normally called.

And most importantly what is it called when a shirt has a design applied on it either through threads or from inside? I mean the kind of artwork that often can appear anywhere on the shirt and it is clearly not like "glued" on or "iron on"
Please respond, I really need to know. Thanks

I would think that this shirt is geared toward men who like to grill. Which is great... except it is on a WHITE shirt... yes... WHITE...

So the first time it is worn it will get ketchup on it, the second time, mustard and by the time it is worn the third time BBQ sauce and then any time that guy wears it after that... the multi colored stains will make every girl in his life cringe... Why OH WHY couldn't it have been put on a black shirt, or a red shirt for that matter??

Ladies get out the bleach, we're going to need it.

After five uses and insufficient washing, just consider it BBQ Tie-dye!

This design should not have been on white. It should have been on charcoal.
;-)

Seriously though, what is it going to take for woot to offer some designs on multiple shirt colors? I would have bought this if it was on heather grey.

Thanks to everyone for your support and to shirtwoot too.
Love the write up as well.

For a change of pace, here's a great Barbecue sauce alternative to the traditional tomato based varieties.

Remember, it's perfectly acceptable and fashionable to wear this shirt
to your next barbecue outing this summer. Just ask Hank.

Two things ...

1) Totally need the queen version. Girls like meat too. BBQ I mean. Get your minds out of the gutter.

2) Apron would be nice ... but why not a BIB. You could have a royal flush of bibs for your guests.

They're not stains, they're badges of honor! Bleaching them out would be like taking your truck through the carwash to get rid of all the mud... wear that mess, and wear it proudly (and then have a "clean" spare for when company comes over).

Don't need a t-shirt, but I'd pay serious dollars if this showed up on an apron.

Awesome shirt!! I'm buying it for my boyfriend and he usually wears a medium tee to "show off his muscles" but I'm worried a medium will be TOO small. Help is much appreciated!!

AA shirts run small - if a Medium usually fights tight enough to show off his muscles, he's probably gonna need a large.

Yes, he look very much like the KoT. Maybe a little less chubby, though...KoT has some serious obesity issues related to his binge/never purge eating disorder.

I'm so sick of how there's a meat joke on here every ten days. I don't sit around playing old video games and getting constipated from bacon and steaks, so I guess Woot isn't for me anymore.

A group of friends has a twice-annual gathering, once at the start of college football and once for the big bowl game day, where we grill, watch football, grill, watch football, grill football due to imminent onset of meat coma, then declare whose grilling was the best.

We now have our Fall 2011 Trophy!

@burnapaperzach- I contacted threadless and they very politely gave me the OK to shop my design elsewhere and I'm fortunate that it found a home here.

@tgentry- I received my shirt and you guys did a fantastic job with the print. The colors are so vibrant and crisp. I'd post a picture, but I don't have access to my digital camera at the moment.
