Re: stay in school
Adding my voice to the praises here. Right now it feels particularly poignant. Despite all my schooling and years of gaining 'proprietary knowledge', I'm losing my job. Apparently it's cheaper for the company to hire + train brand new people in Tampa than keep a competent and experienced department in NYC. x(
Re: You shall not pass (the 5th grade)
This is awesome! GMV.
This is a simpler alternative to my first design, where I worked my old high school pastime of mashing up science/math equations with favorite movies. This one is "unplugged" because I've removed the blackboard and streamlined the design to significantly lessen the amount of ink used in the design (for T-shirt comfort). Please vote for both, if you like the design concept, but only for this one if you would prefer only the least-inked version.
sogj wrote:I LOVE this idea...but could never wear it on a shirt because of the giant chalkboard. It would be so uncomfortable with that much ink, plus there's just a big square in the middle of the shirt...if there was some way the design could flow more it would be awesome! Great idea!
I've followed your suggestions and submitted an "Unplugged" design with a lot less ink and a streamlined equation. Please vote for both, if you like the design concept and would wear either...

Re: Hitting the BOOKS Literarily!!!
Hell Here is my Latest a Nerdja vs Learning. When it come to hitting the books you Just can't beat a Ninja+ Nerd=Nerdja. Hope you guyz like as I will be posting THE Nerdja as A solo shirt in a little while. J
Re: No School Like The Old School
The geek inside of me approves, but yeah, the speech bubble really isn't necessary. The evil laugh that Mr. Compass is doing is good enough.

Really? Can anything REALLY be too penisy??
Re: Waiting For The Bus
I count four, hoping that the ninja stars dont' count as actualy ninjas. But I LOOOOOOOVE PONIES is that shadow that looks like a yakking dog? I have to agree, less hidden would be better, for a shirt. Don't really want anyone staring at me or my chest that long to figure it out.
Re: Dog - Gone - School (Resub)
GMV, because yeah, dogs do that. Which is why I'm a dog owner and not a cat owner. That tissue box ... keep it handy if you're about to watch this: Searching for home, the story of Kirby the dog
Re: First day of class for all
Love it!!

I see four too! I didn't know there were any hidden here til I started to see the comments. Very very clever!
Cool pic, very sweet!
Lovely bio-luminescent glow about this, gorgeous subtle colours. +1
Re: booked solid
Love it! So far this is the only entry I would actually wear.
Re: Epic Daydreams
cant help but like this. love narwhals and love dragons. and epic battle between the two of them is a win. great idea.
Re: Nerd Ninja= Nerdja, A master of Learning!!!
As I stated earlier here is the Nerdja by him self with no books to fight. This will be one of my on going characters that I will use periodically. This deign is on cranberry as I have not done many cranberry colored Tee's. I hope you guys grow to Love the Nerdja!!!!! Lets make him Famous. Thanx JNORAH
Real nostalgic vibe to this. Slightly sad, but wonderful too :o)
Brilliant! The flowers totally give this a dreamy, sinking, soft feeling. Mellow-y and mallow-y!
Re: I'll keep my head in the books, thank you.
Why oh why do my halftones uploaded here on the background look like tartan? They are fine on the original. Can anybody help?
rglee129 wrote:Oh man! Good catch. I made the backs of the chairs separate layers so I could draw all the desks and then the characters separately (for rearrangement purposes). I'll fix the print-ready in case it prints. Thanks for the tip.
your welcome i sort of figured thats what might have happened. i have done similar things before as well. i hope if its does place in the top 3 they will let you make the correction. might help with sales. very cool design though. please dont think i was trying to be a jerk about it i just thought it might have been something that was overlooked. good luck
Oh I actually had the names of the books on them but decided that art could stand with or with out text. Any way if you want to guess the books. They are; Chemistry, History, Algebra, and a Literature book and a Scan Tron Test thrown in for good measure. J

Re: Night School
Who's the red/green guy on the front row? And I hadn't noticed the rat on the desk... that is a nice touch.

The red-green is supposed to be the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) I think?

Cheers Narfcake! Many thanks for all your support for my designs, I really appreciate it!
Re: The Pupil
Striking design. Lots of energy!
Re: Aerodynamics
I had a physics teacher that returned the pop quizzes this way before. It was all fun and good until some stupid kid's parent got all PWNYy about invasion of privacy because other students got to see his grade before it got to him. This was years ago. Internet? What's that?. Computers? That Apple IIe was state-of-the-art!
