I always imagined that this grouch was an expert at avoiding the trash man. I'm sure the truck would be more than happy on this trash day.

Chores would be so much more fun if I had robot to do them! Oh wait, I do have a Roomba....apparently what I'm missing is the butler!

Re: Nature Abhors a Vacuum

I *love* the concept, I just wish it were more obvious that "nature" was the one abhoring the vacuum....I don't have any great ideas about that, though (sorry, not helpful!).

crazydoglady wrote:... but who rakes leaves at night?

This part I could answer ... because I do. 9pm is like the best time for me to mow the lawn too ... the weather is cool enough. My neighbors don't mind ... the ticking of a manual reel-to-reel mower doesn't bother them at all. I've done my flower planting past midnight before too.

Back to the design ... it follows through with the style of some other Ramy designs (like Imagination Takes Flight, Going Away Is The Bluebird). Other artists have used similar fluid styles before too - kdeuce and seki (ugh) comes to mind here.

I like it, but I'm afraid the Rejectionator may find it too closely resembles Pig Pen from Peanuts [as opposed to Pig Pen from the Grateful Dead].

oops, this is my second shot at designing a shirt.
Not trying to bore you all, while trying to figure out why my image was squished, I accidently uploaded it twice. I have been trying to take it back, but cant find the way to delete it. darn darn darn.

I knew this was going to be a possibility. I drew the sketch without reference and I was even quite surprised at how close it ended up. Either way I just wanted to share the idea with everyone. I loved this guy.

Well if we begin to imagine, someone could win there first dirby and with the winnings buy their own shirt creating a bogus accounts for every purchase. Also making your shirt popular for a short time. Then keep doing this a couple of times insuring that every one of your submissions is in the fog. Since you have the numbers now to vote on your own designs placing you in the fog EVERY TIME!

Re: The Naughty Sock Gnome

I have to agree, I think the design is cute, I LOVE the gnome, but the blue of the washer against the cranberry shirt is just not right. I do like the cranberry, but try out some more subtle colors for her and the washer/dryer. Maybe a cream or a pale yellow? not sure but definitely not blue.

The figure is holding a rake, by the way.

Try resubmitting with the wife with a little more clothes and holding a rolling pin or something. That should be able to fly.

I understand Woot! isn't always keen on shirt designs from the derby being resubmitted. Since this was a bag design, fitting for the theme, and requested by the community I wanted to add it to the race.
