Wasn't there this one shirt that was just a blank green tee? Surely that would be the worst-selling shirt of all time.

Green Space sold more than Skate Town as well. It sold: 182.

It's BANNED BOOKS WEEK and I was hoping the BOOK SHIRTS would get some more love.

Good point! Wish I could help out, but I already have my Reading Rocket Ship (which is soooo cool, btw), and I don't think I can afford to go for the illiterate rainbow right now

On a related note, it looks like September 2011 will go down in my personal history as the month I spent my entire clothing budget on woot shirts. I've made 7 woot.shirt purchases in total; 6 of those were this month. Three were in the past week alone (!!). Obviously I'm not (yet) to the point of needing separate furniture to store them, but let me know if you guys start up that support group...

Alas, poor shirt.woot. I knew it well...

On another note, shirt.woot's 4th birthday shirt is still available. Along with a shirt that proves wooters will buy anything, the random shirt shirt.

Of course after you dye the question mark green and get a bowler hat you have a riddler costume. I'd say that makes it better than the blow-up image of some basketball player.

To be honest, we probably should; we're only like 20 miles apart. Granted, this is SoCal ... last Friday after work, it only took 50 minutes to get from Montebello to the Trader Joe's in Whitter - a distance of 9 miles. Call me glutton for punishment, but my wagon is stick shift too.

I do consider people who drive stick gluttons for punishment, but I admire the secret stick shift pride you all have (more secret in some cases than others). As for the support group, alas, I guess I'm out of the loop... Boston is about as far as you can get from there and still be in the mainland US!

(Yep, you heard that right: I'm not on Pacific Time. I'm just a CRAZY night owl.)

MT is the only way to drive. Unless we are talking about high performance race transmissions, AT is too slow and laggy.

I'm pretty discriminate in my shirt purchase, so no support group needed for me.

move along

I have no idea whether it will make a difference or not, but I just bought a copy of the Illiterate Rainbow.

I grew up on Reading Rainbow, and I still remember the theme song. Pathetic, isn't it?

Unless you bought __ dozen of them, your one purchase won't make a difference (for safety).

It'll kill a little longer ... I'm tallying up other low sellers too. So wait for tonight, 'k?

There are certainly a large number of grey shirts on this upcoming reckoning with the three winners from Hipster Animals.

Butterfly in the sky ... and Wootbot must be high ... because this is what I'm imagining it doing right now instead of posting the weekly wrap up. So yeah, you have until midnight tonight (well, a few minutes before to be exact) to buy any of the following:

  • Illiterate Rainbow
  • Juniper Tree
  • Der Mond
  • Slow and Steady
  • Cubism
  • The Toasty Roger
  • Snooze
  • Earlysong

...Well it sure looks like the household chore shirts cleaned up.

That's my Trader Joe's and I pass it going to and from work Isn't there a closer one on your side of the hill?

Yeah, Chino Hills. But since I was already on that side of town, and the 60-freeway (aka a parking lot) is equally horrible on Friday afternoons, I went down Whittier instead.

Back to something more on topic ... these are my (calculated) predictions for #216 tonight:

    1. Kitchen Warfare
    2. Cell Division
    3. The Binge
    4. Questionable Table of Elements
    5. Boba Fetch
    6. Acquired Taste
    7. Nevermore
    8. Haunted Housework
    9. It Came Out Of Nowhere
    10. Super Effective
    11. Luke
    12. Morning Powerup
    13. Couldn't Care Less Bear
    14. The Three Classical States of Matter
    15. Unstealthiest Ninja
    16. Four Classmates
    17. Identity Code
    18. Reading Rocket Ship
    19. Laundry Day
    20. The Cheese is a Liederkranz
    21. Teacher Talks Funny
    22. I’m Just Doing My Job
    23. The Last Pillow Warriors
    24. Ironic Bunny
    25. The Right to Remain Awesome
    26. United Tastes of America
    27. QR Composition

Low sellers (sub-500) list ... 82 (and still counting) right now.

As for how many dozen sales 21st needed ... two. With last night's numbers, I calculated that it was 24 sales shy to safety.

I rarely take the freeway for short trips. Worst parking lot to get into and out of at the Trader Joe's. 2 dozen shirts - so Illiterate Rainbow didn't stand a chance
