I know things like this vary between cultures, but I find that most guys afraid to wear something this "girly" or "feminine" are less rough & tumble and more insecure. I get compliments from people all the time on my "girly" shirts.

The only similarity is a non-Caring riff on Carebears. The art and culture-bash are individual enough for this design to stand apart from the threadless one.

No, this design doesn't plagiarize, but geezum, the design is neither original nor interesting.

Did no one share this link earlier because the old school shirt.woot crowd has been scared away? I'm wicked surprised that the link didn't appear on the derby entry page.

Different vibe ripping on the same kiddie icon.

I still think the bear looks blind and down on his luck, instead of hipster.

Now this is a hipster bear:

I LOVE this! <3 I would have bought it if it wasn't slate color. >< But awesome design anyhow :D!

I love this write-up! I can't really see many hipsters wearing this, but I can see me wearing it. Now if TRTRA ( the right to remain awesome) would magically pop up on woot! tomorrow, then this crazy screwed-up world will be right again.

This is the quintessential Seattle care bear. When this arrives I'm going straight to Vivace on Cap to be seen in it.

My 5 month old is obsessed with the carebears. The yellow one is her favorite. Had to get one, just to see her smile when my husband wears it. LOL

Favorite Woots: The First Years miSwivel Feeding Chair, Kiddy Sport’n Move Stroller, Sacs of Life Insulator 4 Reusable Shopping Bags, Daiwa Golf Bag, Energizer Light on Demand Twin Light Center, Ooma Telo ViIP Home Phone System, and a Stainless Steel Designer 6 Ounce Flask.

Wouldn't that be the "I don't care bear stare"? You know... hipsters...

+1.

I ain't gonna wear the clothes that you like
I'm fine and dandy with the me inside

If you're secure about yourself, then you'll care more about how it makes you feel and less about how others feel. Which probably explains the dozen (or so) Powerpuff Girls shirts I have (mostly circa 1995-1999), all in men's sizes. They made 'em ... somebody's gotta wear 'em, right?

Back to Couldn't Care Less Bear ... DoOomcat is right - the feet do look awkward.

I love how this shirt is a clear care bear rip off (down to the heart nose) though I have seen other clever shirts be disqualified for copyright infringement though they only slightly looked like the item in question. Guess when it's your main money maker woot doesn't care about copyrights.

Considering there was a furry convention in Seattle (Rainfurrest) that weekend, the timing is just perfect.

Yes, I was at Rainfurrest. And yes, I'm buying this shirt.

All of the above. The women's sizes are prefixed with a W, kid's sizes are prefixed with a K.

If you have American Apparel tshirts, then buy by that size. If not, look at the sizing chart before you order.

Hey, wait a minute! It looks to me like the design changed for the shirt! I don't remember being able to see the bear's eyes through the glasses. I just checked the shirt I bought--his glasses are solid black. And now, there's a gradient to his glasses? What's up with that???
