Re: Safari Days...
I missed the days when no one could see snufalupogous (not even trying to spell right)
Re: A Walk In The Park
I really like how you did the orange sky.
Great contrast!
Re: Serengeti
Cool one odyssey! +1
Re: A meal fit for a king
Peanut butter, banana, and... bacon?
Re: Spotless
GMV immediately. You solved a bunch of technical problems which I can only aspire towards, but the join between the base of the neck and the shoulder blade bothers me;becomes a little bit of a focal point and interferes with the visual flow.I have, unfortunately,no suggestions on how it could have been handled differently,so I guess you can just ignore this
Re: S is for Safari
I LOVE IT...
Re: Threads
Hello. Your thumbnail doesn't match the design that goes on the shirt. It has to be a section of the design with no changes or it will get rejected. So resub as quick as possible.
berona wrote:I am hoping "less is more" with this design. I enjoyed the characters but I had a tough time figuring out where to place them on the The Day the Ponies Come Back (2000).
Best. Typo. Evar. Oh, and nice shirt! Cute as hell.
Intricate and beautiful. +1
Re: Whack-A-Meerkat
The thumbnail alone made me Lol. +1
Re: African Ink
I have to agree I avoid white shirts, though for different reasons. A, I'm a slob and, B, the AA whites are thinnish and, therefore, somewhat transparent. I wish this were on any other color, because it is just perfect.
How you can consistently take something so simple, make it cute as hell, and turn it into cash is beyond me. You. Just. Rock.
Re: The Happy Hippo
...although more people are killed by hippos than sharks every year.
paigeg wrote:What better way for a cool impala dude to impress the does than to cruise by in - what else? An Impala! Suitably genericized, of course. Three colors on lemon. And shout out and thanks to the pre-derby gang - you guys rock! Special kudos to sasham.
Voted! And thank you and you're welcome!
Re: If you become a lion, I will go on safari...
I was all set to say, "If this doesn't get rejected on the No Bunnies Rule..." but then I reread the rule, which is "Animals you might find on African Safari only..." and I looked up "African Hare". Good likeness. Of course, that makes me question the rule. Is the rule against button-eyes then? Because if so, there may be a lion or two that have that issue going on.
Re: Pithy!
I think that exclamation point counts as text.
Re: Live Dancing at the White Rhino!
apparently, you can't tell the difference between white rhinos and black rhinos by looking at them.
Re: The Jungle Dance
First reaction: Aw, how cute, the lion and the zebras are doing a little dance together! Second reaction: Wait...why's there red stuff all over the lion's mouth? And what happened to the other zebra? And why's the lion getting fatter? Third reaction: OH MY GAWD NOOOOO. D:

If we cant laugh at our typos...woot can we laugh at! see what I did there? hahaha

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................no
Re: African Ink (slate)
OK I resubmitted this design on a new color, as white shirts seem to be disliked in general.

Yeah, I don't persoanlly buy alot of white shirts. I preffer tan/brown/grey in my closet. So I did resubmit the design on grey, kinda late though.
Re: thunderstorm
Very interesting take on the theme! +1
A probable misspelling that triggers the filter Gotta love it - cute shirt, too!

I'm not in love with the color of the lion but I like the shirt none the less.

It reminds me of the Marc Ecko logo

You kidding? LOVE the color selection!!!! Palamino Beige ROCKS the color spectrum!
cwendauthi wrote:Boy, you must hate the shirts with phrases on them. From across the room they just look like solid shirts with scribbles on them.
Yeah, actually. If it's a simple phrase with only a few words, and took up the whole shirt, then it would be fine. But all the key features of this design are indistinguishable from only a few feet away. Why would you want to wear something that will just look like blobs to everyone you pass by? And besides that, with the bottom half of the circle is smaller than the top half, how is that "Balanced"?. I would just *love* to hear the excuse you have to justify why it was designed that way.
Re: Sunset Serenade
I'm digging the design, even with the moon and sun. the thing that is throwing me off though is the front legs. They seem to connect awkwardly to the torso of the giraffe
