YES, exactly, what the heck is supposed to be Celtic about this? If its not a basket weave its a loose fiber weave. You might as well call it, pre-industrial-textile-weaving-homosapien-skull-from-planet-earth. And one who evidently didn't weave well enough to make it, he he he he. Oh geez. Sort of like the person who named this particular textile... Ha ha.

At the same time, I don't dislike the design. I just get really touchy about apparent misnomers and poor attempts to cash in on things I like

Thanks for the wonderful comments on the skull today. I think this colorful picture here looks like a 1969 cartoon background for an episode of Scooby Doo and I totally love it.

Also, I guess my skull is perhaps a celtic-INSPIRED woven skull. Maybe not a straight-up celtic skull. Semantics, though, no? Anyway, thanks.

I agree totally. Cool skull but doesn't look particularly Celtic. Looks like it is done up in ribbons and bows.

Any reasonable person can see it isn't tied with ribbons and bows. I would probably file that comment in the "mean" category. Certainly not constructive.

It doesn't matter if it looks like it's woven, or tied with a lot of string, or even if it's celtic or not. It's a cool drawing. Bought three.

I am very sad right now. I really wanted this shirt, so I saved it under starred on my gmail until the day came that I could buy it. Well, that day was today, and the shirt has been reckoned. Can't find it anywhere. *%^&!

You might have better luck at WootSwap, TeeTrade, or The Random Shirt Trade Center. Happy hunting!
