Jeez, again? These animal shirts are just too beastly for my tastes...

Well, what would you have expected out of a derby themed 'Safari'?

Nice shirt but can't pull the trigger. Fat guys wear wolves, not lions.

I ain't lion when I say that I LOVE this shirt. My 4 year-old and I will wear ours with pride, and I bet we'll be the mane attraction whenever we wear them. First stop...the local zoo.

First Shirt.Woot purchase. This shirt is so cool I couldn't resist buying one for my ex wife (also a Leo), whom I'm not very fond of at this point in the century. Oh, fat guys do definitely do wear Lions, tend to be loners, don't do well in packs.

Unless that was a pun that went over my head... no.

gird, v.tr.
1. a. To encircle with a belt or band.
b. To fasten or secure (clothing, for example) with a belt or band.
[...]
Idiom: gird (up) (one's) loins
To summon up one's inner resources in preparation for action.

Girding your LIONS, on the other hand, is a much more complicated endeavor. In fact, I think one would have to gird one's loins in order to prepare to gird a lion!

The goodness of the true pun is in the direct ratio of its intolerability. - Edgar Allan Poe

If you have any American Apparel shirts, then just buy by that size since that's what Woot shirts are.

If not, then measure a shirt that fits you and then compare it to the size chart.

The design alone compelled me to buy this. Very well done!

It'd be a done deal if it weren't brown...

Seriously, making a t-shirt brown eliminates at least half of potential buyers.

**** EDIT: Just found in the FAQ that I can email service@woot.com for this. So sorry. ****

Mine arrived today! It's a printed a bit bigger and little lower than I was expecting, but I still think it makes an awesome shirt! It's nice because it could also just be a brown shirt with a yellow/orange burst on it, you know? Looks cool enough as that -- added bonus of it being a nature scene. Serious kudos to the artist! Thank you!

Sadly, my shirt in particular isn't so great. What's the deal if the print is damaged? Is it the same kind of "you get what you get" situation Woot employs for other things? This is my sixth shirt from here and I've never had this problem before.

The first thing I saw as I pulled Lapwing Sunset out of the bag was a very conspicuous line on the lion's forehead. Shocked, I thought it was a line from a black pen... thought that somehow, somebody had marked the shirt up with a pen.

I hoped that it would come out in the wash; not wanting to wait until laundry day to remedy this I decided to go to the bathroom and just try to spot clean it. Before getting there, I realized that it didn't seem to be a mark on TOP of the print, it seemed to go INTO the print. Then I realized that I was a fool and it wasn't pen at all! It wasn't black I was seeing, it was brown -- the brown of the shirt! There's an inch long gap in the print! The pictures do not do my problem justice.

Don't mean to be melodramatic... I'm just so bummed out When you're in college, it's a great pick-me-up to get a package in the mail, so I've been excited for this. Now I don't know if I even want to wear it. This coupled with the fact that the print goes down far enough that lion's face garbles up at the slightest movement, unless you keep the shirt totally taut (this problem is understandable and I should have foresaw it). The gap is noticeable even from a distance and it is in the worst place possible! I could get over it if it were on the darker, outskirts of the print... but it's on the brightest part.

There's no defect return policy, right? I can't exchange for new one?

This shirt is no longer in print. You might be able to find it on teetrade.org, wootswap.com, or the random shirt trade center in the Shirt.Woot forum.
