For a thin guy I would recommend going down a size from what you normally get in clothing stores. I normally take medium to accommodate my lengthy torso and would get a small if my lack of belly didn't hang out but woot small is perfect for chest/length. The shirts are longer fitting and fairly ' stretchy' without looking or feeling like you're going to pop out of them.

Now about the shirt..

This is amazing, almost a new favorite from patrickspens if not for so many amazing ones before like the beige one he did two years ago..

I knew this would not only be in the top 3 but also win from the moment I saw it.

Great work my friend, if it were wear able outside of october I would be all over this

Edit: Ok the shirt was almost EXACTLY 2 years ago.. http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=36855

I also went through his other shirts and realized between my girlfriend and I, we have like a million of his designs..

I would buy this right now if not for the fact that the dining hall is closed this weekend, and I need to eat. As it is, I still have no idea, because everything about this shirt is beautiful.

How can you apply the $5 discount to a $10 shirt? You can't.

It feels weird to call a scarecrow shirt beautiful, but wow...it's beautiful! Love the teal against the black, too. As my 4 year-old would say, this shirt looks spookily!

Fantastic shirt! This shirt is scarier than some haunted houses that I have visited. It reminds me that scarecrows scare more than crows.

And that's saying something. Maybe I'll be Lance Henricksen in his street clothes for Halloween - I'll be the creepiest thing out there.

Bought the shirt, so excited to terrify wee little trick or treaters with it.

I know from experience what it's like to wait for your first woot shirt to arrive, open the bag, love the shirt, and then put it on to find that it's uncomfortably tight... it kinda ruined my whole day:{ And because I really wanted the shirt I HAD to buy a second one in a larger size. Soooo - I recommend that you take a minute and find a tape measure or yard-stick or something that has inches. Grab a t-shirt that you own that fits just right and lay the measuring implement across the front of the shirt under the armpits, look at the sizing chart, and go from there. If you don't have a measuring implement and you're on a serious budget, take that favorite shirt of yours to Home Depot or Ikea or someplace with measuring implements laying around and do it there. It may save you some disappointment - and $10!

I see how that you've received advice to both size up and size down.

I'm 5' 10", 30 inch waist, 155 lbs. I take a medium in shirts and have ordered medium woot shirts. The medium woot shirts are more form fitting than other t-shirts I've purchased off the rack. I personally would not recommend sizing down. If you're slender, stick with the size you're use to. If in doubt, size up.

5 9" 145 small chest, I wear a woot medium and it fits well. The large is ugly. Haven't tried a woot small yet. I generally wear a mixture of small and medium shirts depending on the length of the shirt. Seems smaller shirts are also shorter in length as well, which sucks if you are a skinny male.

If you normally wear a medium and it's fitted or even slightly loose, then a woot medium will be more fitted and tight.

I'm 5'1, wear a size 4 and get a large because they run tight and shrink.

I agree, you definitely don't want to size down. I don't even use hot water or dryer on hot and my woot shirts always shrink down. If you want a slim fit, get your usual off-the-rack size as it WILL shrink. I would recommend a size up. Its much better to get a shirt that is a little looser than you're used to than to get a shirt that you can't wear after 1 wash.
