You cats are hot on some guesses and cold on others. We'll be posting some clues later on, but for now, keep those guesses coming! woooot!

The fact that they are being used as a gadget for modern social networking is what makes them "new", specially for young kids that have never experienced the awesomeness of a can phone.

Thanks to everybody else for the nice comments and votes!

kylemittskus wrote:I'm confused. The derby theme states: "This week we want you to get inventive and show us your best invention to make life a little easier." You didn't invent anything here. Night vision goggles already exist. In your comment, you say that they're solar powered, but that's not shown in the shirt because it's night and they're working.

I get the joke, but I there's no invention.

I agree, how are these solar powered in any way? They are working at night and there are no solar panels on it. Also, isn't 1k cheap for a real pair of advanced night vision goggles? The tag should just say $$$$$ to indicate some large unknown amount of cash.

Solar power can work at night, or why would people make solar powered lights? And just to back up my claim: http://www.solarhome.org/infohowdoessolarpowerwork.html

The panels aren't there, that's correct, but just because you don't see them, doesn't mean they aren't there. We don't see the top of the glasses. But ultimately it would be for woot to decide.

I too am wary of foreign languages I don't know on my shirts, but the gadget certainly fits the theme well!

I always have to reprogram my ways of thinking when I stop working in Illustrator on my tablet and draw on a real pulp and chemicals piece of paper...I can't tell you the number of times I've tried to CMD+Z, CMD+SHIFT+Z, and CMD+S drawings...

You can see a detailed version (so you can read the fine print!) here:

Ugh, yes. 3D is so over rated...I shouldn't have to wear glasses (or glasses over my glasses on days I decide not to wake up all the way) to watch movies, and especially not tv.

I love the art and the concept, I'm just not sure a t-shirt is the right place for it. Maybe if it had a more vintage feel too it? Fantastic work though
