Hello. Lovely evening with granddaughters. Proofed oldest one's resume she needs for internship interviews next week. Last year of college.

Not that I've heard. I'm hoping they wait a few more years.

Amazon Library If you have a Kindle and an Amazon Prime account, you can borrow books for 2 weeks for free (well the cost of your prime account).

Just thought I'd share. It has to be the full prime account, I have an AmazonMom account which gives me the free shipping, but doesn't allow this (or the free TV shows).

I never did the "band thing." Only had one friend that did. They did pretty well and were actually getting traditional radio play when they decided they were ready to move on to something that had less traveling to it.

That's just my take on it since neither she nor he are not now or have ever been connected with a band.

Morning!

Totally bummed, ordered the composter from Woot a few days back. Fedex shows it was delivered, but...it wasn't. Sigh. Called Fedex and filed a report.

Well, sure, you're certainly welcome to read it. But No1 complains about weather reports. It's like he doesn't care if it's raining on my pointy little head.

Good morning everyone. Inky - am not in love with the weather - either blowing wind and cold rain last night or dark dreary, chilly this morning! But then again, there was no guarantee. The colors of the leaves here were beautiful on Mon Tues, and some of yesterday. Feel sorry for the folks up in New England. Some of my friends are still without power, water, auto fuel, etc.

Got a doggie play date.

Already got the Mom call where she tells me if she never moved , life would be so wonderful.
I have to admit, she did drag her feet on moving, but in the end stepdad won. Then died 3 years later.

But she won't even consider spending the night at a friends house. They all have extra bedrooms. She could have seen them every week and only slept at each persons house once a month.
Or go once a month and only sleep at each friends house a few times a year.
But nope, she won't consider it.

It is also much harder driving there, it is city driving.
Plus things like you can't bring the shopping cart to the car. You leave it outside the door of the supermarket and carry your stuff to the car in the parking lot.
She doesn't remember that!
Maybe now, that they can lock the wheels when the cart leaves the parking lot, you can bring it to the car.

Oh, and the fact that nobody on the block is still there. Not one. Just moms friends are left, because they were too old to move.

i simply assume you're indoors where the climate is controlled.

if your roof is leaking, that is of interest. otherwise, routine, seasonal weather is ... mundane.
