I completely understand. The amount of incoming sweets into my tiny household has been so wonderful and appreciated, yet intimidating. (I may foist some on my coworkers here before it is all said and done.)

F-i-l had another breakthrough moment today in physiotherapy,we hope it bouys his spirits through the weekend.
Seeing him pull himself up into a standing possition in the walker brought a tear to my eye.Everybody in the physio room aplauded! I think it gave more than one of them hope for themselves.

Ice, glad to hear your FIL is making some progress towards a full recovery. Did he agree to stay in the rehab or is he still insisting on going home? Big hugs to you and Mrs. Ice. Sounds like it's been extremely stressful and tiring on both of you.

Hope everyone enjoys the New Year as best they can. Unfortunately we all have ups and downs in our lives. Hopefully 2012 will bring more ups for all of us and we'll enjoy and cherish each one with our loved ones while remembering those we miss along the way. Life is too short and precious not to.

We were able to get him to agree to one week at a time so we may have to go through this all again...we shall see. As hard as it has been on Mrs. Ice and I it is infinitely harder on f-i-l and m-i-l, it's just as important for us to keep that in perspective.

Apparently there was quite a bit of excitement during lunch @ the home. It started with an argument over the tv volume, lots of cussing, yelling and almost a fistfight between 2 guys in wheelchairs.
