Pretty fair. Some good days; some, not so good.

I have times like that too. Today has been tough emotionally. I guess I didn't think that New Year's would be an emotional day for me. I had myself all psyched up to deal with Christmas and I got through it ok, that I didn't even consider New Year's to be a problem.

What kind of books do you like to read? I used to read romances but that is out so I am looking into other reading genres.

Le Carre; Ludlum.

On a totally unrelated note, the black eyed peas I made in the crockpot turned out quite well! I have always hated the canned ones but mom insisted we eat them every New Year. I made fresh ones in her honor. My oldest needs to get home before I eat them all!

Read Mary Stewart's Merlin trilogy - The Hollow Hills, The Crystal Cave, and The Last Enchantment.

I also highly recommend Watership Down.

All are very dated, but excellent reads (and re-reads!)

Well, I think son popped those blackeyed peas back like pills and swallowed them whole but they're down. Made sure he got at least 12 peas... one for each month. Maisy got her share too. Cat has so far refused.

Happy New Year about 24 hours late. Company leaving tomorrow and a couple of days to get ready for more. Weather has been gorgeous, but I do need to get a new pool heater and cleaner onboard. My own PT exercises are suffering as well.

Glad to see you Zea, also Poof, glad you are back. Ice, the fight sounds hilarious in a very sad way Been there, Seen that.

Here's wish good health and a lot of happiness to everyone in 2012.
