I can't help but notice that "It Came Out of Nowhere" has been around a really long time, but it never really seems to get the grief that are two other old-timer shirts get. In fact, and I could have missed this, but it doesn't really seem to get mentioned at all during the weekly discussions, yet it just holds on.

It has the benefit of not being the most conspicuous best seller, nor the victim of poor print stamina (that I know of). It also appeals to the inner geek of enough wooters that I guess it's just non-offensive.

I'm not fond of it personally. It's somewhat clever, sure, but I've seen far better looking (and funnier, in my opinion) designs get reckoned while this one keeps floating in the middle of the pack. But hey, that's just me and I'm just one wooter of many. Obviously I'm in the minority.

As for the other shirts... will this be the week Morning Powerup finally falls? Something tells me no.

Oh man, I was really hoping that Taking the Bus would have been a lot higher than last place. It's my favorite design :/

With the snow and the power outage in the east, along with the change of seasons, I no longer have an idea what DSR it really take for survival, so I really can't say.

A few weeks ago, when faced with the reckoning, it had a good run through the week. Since it was NOT Monday morning, no suspicion was raised.

What will be telling this week is how well the Halloween-specific designs sell now that it's over. I bought Slow Death because it's still "wearable" the other 11 months of the year.

Click or Treat and Haunted Scarecrow will probably fall quickly. But the other seasonal shirts also have that Zombie thing going for them, and may hang around for a while.

Oh, no, you said its name! Hopefully the jinx is invoked only if it is referred to within 24 hours of reckoning ^_^ But the predictable drop in sales of the Holloween-themed shirts may serve to allow it to rise in the ratings without impressive sales, so it may stick around.

Uh-oh - I convinced myself that even though the little mousies are in Halloween costumes, Click or Treat is clever enough to be worn pretty much year round... so you think I'll look really silly wearing it in January?

Not 200 but rather 208 weeks would be a better marker to celebrate. That would be exactly four years! Quite a momentous feat in my mind!

It came out of nowhere is a good shirt for starters. It's nerd funny, well done for a pop culture reference, is easily recognizable, and has been seen on nerd celebs (Chris Hardwick)in public in the past.

Nevermore gets alot of grief because it's kind of a terrible (for reasons that have been beaten to death) shirt, but the Poe reference and the novelty of the text shape keeps it popular with the masses. For the same reasons HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED is popular with his generic never ending parade of cute shirts.

People will complain when shirts that they feel like aren't worthy persist, yet don't mind when a worthy shirt does it. "The Cake is a liar" lasted a really long time and nobody whined that I remember, in fact alot of people were pretty sad when it finally did bite the dust.

- 12-1/2th Walmazan shirt. Collaborations = 1/2 each, and I have three of them.
- 99th Woot total.
- 155th unique Woot shirt. Many were purchased on the secondary market, which explains the count discrepancy and what I'm wearing this morning.

Yeah, that's what I was weighing. OTOH, today's design doesn't make much sense either, so it's good too.

It's not so much a sales bump like what Cheese and Morning Powerup experienced in recent weeks, but that its sales have steadily held on. Not to mention ... do I need a 4th one?

Wow, that's an impressive collection! I only have 15 unique shirts(soon to be 16 once Taking the Bus arrives) so I guess I'm just a shirt.woot amateur. I have slightly more woots, but I've given some as gifts.
I only have 1 Walmazan Shirt (The Royal Shame) and 2 Slate Shirts (Fire Maker, Rain Bringer and Gingers!). I need to spend some time searching thrift stores for some vintage shirts for sure.

I think that week of crappy sells will really hurt a lot of the bottom shirts. It did a number on last week's new shirts' escape plans but it'll continue to mess with the averages of the current bottom of the chart.

I guess what I'm saying is I'm not expecting either "Scrub my Pretty"(last week 69 shirts) or "Slow Death"(last week 87 shirts) to survive this reckoning. =D
