EDIT: They were two unrelated bugs, both Wootbot related, but both of these should be fixed now.
Of COURSE Wootbot was involved. He can't be bothered to do his real job, but when it comes to screwing things up, he's more than happy to oblige!
(Thanks for the update tgentry

I am bemused by the fact that (as of right now) Easiest Thanksgiving Recipe is the "Most International" shirt. I think I subconsciously think of Thanksgiving as a quintessentially American holiday. Yes, I know that some other countries have their own Thanksgiving celebrations, but to my knowledge, none of them take place next week. Of course, with Smartpost, those international buyers are probably crossing their fingers that it'll get to them in time for Christmas...

Wow, looks like s.w is about to have its second 6k sellout this week!
Related question: does anyone know how close to selling out a shirt must be in order to trigger the bouncing buy button? Is there a set number at which the button starts bouncing, or does it vary depending on the sales rate throughout the day?

escapecar wrote:The buy button starts to bounce when 90% of the original quantity of an item have been sold. So for a shirt, the bouncing starts when there are 600 left. (Or, to be pedantic, when Woot is only going to sell 600 more that day, as they can always make more.)
Good to know, thanks!
