Do I contact customer service if the zipper to my hoodie broke on it's inagural wearing? Or is it mine to fix now?
Of COURSE you email woot! And you throw in links to a couple photos of the broken zipper. With a clever and quirky story about how it broke but then a "no, really, it just rando BROKE crying tears of SAD." And then you smiley face smiley face SMILEY FACE "heyyyy, defective product please new?" Then you wait, since it's now the weekend. And gird yourself for disappointment while secretly hoping they printed an extra one in your size and are feeling generous and not "hey, that's what safety pins are for, butterfingers."
Good luck!

*snippety snip*
(Kinda like that?)
But with those photos, the CSR might be all "well, the perfectly-present zipper may just be hiding below the cut-off of the photo. Why can I not see the whole hoodie and its zipper area so that I may ascertain the missing-ness of the zipper mechanism? REQUEST DENIED."

Mainly because I have a crummy camera/camera phone as my only option. Ah well. I shall then turn to my wife's sewing skills to see what she can do about installing a new zipper thingy. It's missing that little do-hicky that makes the teeth interlock.
Just email them! It doesn't hurt to at least ask.

elankat wrote:I still say Bake It So as an apron would have been a good seller. I know I would have bought at least one along with the KA apron I picked up.
Yeahh... that would have been great except all prints were previously printed designs (minus the woot logo one, of course). Bake It So was and is a derby entry and was not and still has not been a printed design at woot. I mean, that would be like me complaining that my favorite Edgar McHerly derby entry that never printed should have been put on a tote--kinda unfair and unreasonable. Though if Bake It So WERE to be printed on an apron? ZOMGZ I would buy ten (or just, uh, two)!

meanderingchaos wrote:I bought both a "Greetings From Krampus" t-shirt and a "Lost in Transition" hoodie. Same day, about an hour apart. I have shipping info on the t-shirt (and it's out for delivery today), but haven't even seen a shipped notification for the hoodie. Anyone have any advice?
If you click on "my account" under your username at the top of the shirt.woot page, and then click on the name of the hoodie purchase in the box on the left, is there a tracking number listed under the receipt? If not, please email service@woot.com with your order number and query. Please be aware that woot customer service works normal business hours, so you won't hear anything back until Monday. If there is a tracking number, pay close attention to the movement of your order and email service@woot.com if there seems to be no tracking updating for quite a few days.
