I like it,.but I feel like I've seen it

Power up with some caffeine!
kalee11 wrote:This actually bothers me because I think you mean that dragons, 1% of the population, control 99% of the loot, but really you're saying that 99% of the dragons out there suck at what they do and have practically no loot at all.
Have you seen 'How to Train Your Dragon'? In that movie there's a queen dragon that controls all the other dragons. Like a bee hive. So it could be accurate, the queens own the loot the other 99% serve the queens.

Where is the everyday part? Because of a campaign poster spoof?

I just may do that- the only problem might be that I would split my vote and ruin my chances of printing.

Thanks Spirit! I really want to play skyward sword but I don't have a Wii. sad face
Re: Red Potion
@taternuggets Thanks! I was shooting for a fifties vibe. @microburst54 Thanks! That's what I was hoping for @d------- I hope you get the chance to buy it @penthus you should get a triforce tattooed on your face.
No, really, that's how Shadowrun is played.
Re: Critical Hit
Thanks! ^__^ It's an everyday scene for dinosaurs with a roleplaying twist, Westlyftw. The setting just needs to be appropriate for whatever character you base your design around. You could have rabbits playing dungeon in their burrow, for instance. There's always that freedom in the derbies that you don't have to stick to humans.

That's a really good point. (And a great movie!) I didn't mean it was necessarily a mistake, I just meant I didn't really think it was what the designer was trying to get across. And I could be entirely wrong. I just wanted to make my point.
Radscoolian wrote:@penthus you should get a triforce tattooed on your face.
I'd rather do the shirt. ;) Besides, I don't like needles in my face. Might get the Triforce elsewhere on my person!
clever, but doesn't this tap dance pretty close to text only?
Re: Occupy Dungeons
very clever design! the coloring on this is off the hook!
Re: The Grind
clever and understated. well done.
Re: Rock and Roleplay!
very wearable and fun design. love the color choices on this.

Great idea, though let's be honest... if you wear this in public you might as well fill in the 'Sex' box with Never.
If this doesn't win, why, I could... I could shut this whole site down. Sir? I'll take my traveler's checks to a competing website. I could write a letter to your board of woot and I could have this place condemned. I could put... I could put... strychnine in Ramy's penguins.
Replace smarts with intelligence.

Or "Nerd only"
If it's a psychology degree you could add Employability + .0000000001.
Re: Fitness Fantasy
May want to resubmit. Not allowed to have anything in the thumbnail that is not also in the design.
Re: Obey the DM
I'm not sure they will print that imagery as it's directly from the movie (the design not your actual drawing).
Re: Kitty evolution
Ok, that's cute.
Re: [url=http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=58887]Hooks
It would be fun to give a bunch of these to our local fire house!
HeartlineTwist wrote:Where is the everyday part? Because of a campaign poster spoof?
Yes...
D3lusional wrote:I'm not sure they will print that imagery as it's directly from the movie (the design not your actual drawing).
It's not taken from the movie - it's modeled in a 3D design prog, and then rendered in 2D. The design of Barad Dur is Tolkien's, not Peter Jackson's, and since it's parody, it should be covered... (like past approved LotR shirts).
Re: He doesn't play
Before he goes to work... he has to roll. First Sub. Very short of design standards here at woot! But I'm learning.. I also misread the derby instructions as: NO TEXT, only designs. rather than: No text-only designs. which made it considerably more difficult to write for me.. This sums up my experience with RPG, waiting for the axe to fall... lol.
lyonscc wrote:Ah - I remember now his other reason! We used a coin for 1d1, since a natural "1" is supposed to be a "fumble" in D&D. We assigned one side of the coin as a "fumble" and the other side as "1" damage. So yes, it was a 1-sided die (technically).
Shouldn't it have been a D3, 1 fumble, 1 normal, and 1 crit? XD

True, but I was already pushing it trying to enter a bar fight with a needle...
Love it! Good luck!
"I Gotta Get This Frickin' Duck Away From Me" - StrongBad
I hope this makes it. I NEED this shirt.
I mean there's like one or two dragons that are hoarding crazy scrilla. That dragon at the end of Dragons Lair had as much gold as Scrooge McDuck. Surely, they can't all have that kind of cheese.
Re: Choose Your Weapon
At first I thought 'Choose your Weapon' was printed underneath and center on the shirt as well and got super excited. When I realized it wasn't, I got a little sad LOL, but seriously, GMV.

A valid point, considering that I only see one dragon on this list! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbes_Fictional_15
Re: In The Lair Of The Black Cat
This one is definitely the best design. All of the other designs basically use the same concept of "+1 Exp" etc. This one is amazing.
