I admit it, I am not skinny. I get maybe one good wear out of the 3x shirt.woots that I buy (26 so far). After that I still wear them but it isn't flattering or fun for anyone that sees me. I would gladly pay a $2 premium for a 4x option. This is the internet I know I am not the only one fueled by bacon and soda around here, there HAS to be some sort of market for larger sizes. Just my 4¢

Heya! I have no comment on the 4x sizing, because what do I know about that? But! According to what you've written, it seems as though your shirts fit fine on the first wear, but then become too small? This sounds like either magic... or shrinkage. If it's magic? Damn it, man, just reverse the spell! But if it's shrinkage... do you perhaps wash your shirts in warm or hot water? And/or dry them in the dryer? Because I assure you that if you wash your shirts in cold water and air dry them (hang them up to dry), then they will not shrink. At least, mine don't when I wash and dry them in that manner. Anyway, just some thoughts.

I rose in rainy autumn and walked abroad in a shower of all my days.

American Apparel tees aren't available in 4X. Woot would have to change sources for their blanks, and that would potentially lose them a LOT of business, since finding a cheap source for American made tees isn't an easy task.

Yep. I wouldn't have as many Woot shirts as I do (around 200) if they weren't made in the USA.

That is a key reason why I hardly buy from Threadless ... they used to be AA shirts. Then they switched to Fruit of the Loom. Then to blanks made in Bangladesh. Nowadays, they're getting a lot of their blanks from India. Seems to me that they're more so in it to buy the cheapest priced blanks instead, consistency of the sizing from one source to another be damned.

You would not lose business if you charged enough to cover your overhead. If you believe the media this 4X and over demographic is growing. I think woot is leaving money on the table. I'm just sayin'.

I don't wear a 4x but my husband does, and it is not a weight issue, he is just a really big guy. It sucks they don't carry a 4x, I wish maybe Woot would request larger sizes made from A.A, I think A.A would take their request seriously because I'm sure Woot gives them a lot of business. I too would want to stick with A.A because of being made here, and the quality is good.

Umm.

In case you haven't kept up on things, Woot DID in fact change suppliers.

And there hasn't been a rebellion, although they have lost some customers.

So, AA isn't getting much business from Woot these days.

Yeah, I saw that they changed suppliers. I noticed especially when I received my Prune Juice shirt the other day. Perhaps, they should request that Anvil sends larger sizes? My father and husband used to work at the Anvil factory when it was still here in NC, before they went over sea's. They did carry much larger sizes then, I remember. I also noticed the shirts feel a good bit different than they used to as well, not as comfy.I still love the designs however. Ugh...
