You're welcome. I just quickly read back and saw that Daj posted an alien video. Sounds like the same voices and song. lol

Kloz, it wasn't me that had the headache, KD did. Thanks though for the well wishes for a good day to all of us. Mine was very good, thanks.

Darn, didn't realize the People's Choice Awards were on tonight. I would have watched it. Or at least had it on while I did other stuff.

I doubt you missed much

It's going to be a long week. Having the bifocals put in my existing glasses, so I gave them to the lab. Got contacts to use in the mean time, but I haven't worn the stupid things in 8 years or so. My eyes are not overly happy with me at this point. Been wearing them since 8am PST.

Anyone here found a good online place? I'd like to get a cheap back up set at some point as well.

Me too. I saw an announcement this AM and then totally forgot it. I am motivated after all these years to get rid of a lot of stuff -mostly old tax records, just junk really. I put out another 13 bags of stuff tonight.

Good morning everybody! We are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow tonight.
edit:
KtC: I have ordered several pairs of glasses from Zimmi Optical. Worked great. I can get the glasses for less than my co-pay if I got them from my Optometrist.

Morning. Pouring here, got wet even with the big umbrella. And was almost run over by a construction truck who completely failed to stop or even slow down at the stop sign/pedestrian cross walk. He was going fast enough that in the gloom I couldn't get his plates, or I'd be reporting him. Grrr.

pooflady wrote:Does anyone here shop at a Wegman's?

Yes, and it's good. Cheapest place for good meat, more likely to have some less common ingredients. Bakery is nothing special, though.

Rain stopped and sun came out under the clouds.
Got up. Threw the dog into the yard to poop before the rain started again.
Took a rainbow picture, that I may download.

Got the leash and took Rusty up the block for a better rainbow pic, but the rainbow was gone.

It was still lightly raining and the sun was still there.

No more sun, but not raining again...yet.

I pictured it as the sun being visible below the clouds since the sun was still low on the horizon while the clouds were overhead.

Not that I have a smart phone that can read those stupid squares.

I should just give woot $ every year to waste. I always place a few orders where I say what the f was I thinking about when I ordered this?

Afternoon folks. How goes it. It was windy overnight and now cold. Prefer the 70 degrees we had yesterday. Did get my car back though. They had to replace the starter.

Might be what blew threw here last night. It was windy for sure. Not things flying through the air kind of windy but the house creaking kind.

It isn't raining.
It was.
It will again.
But not right now.

The animals are planning an uprising.
Rusty has been trying to get me to feed him since 3:30.
He eats at 5.

He just got the cat to come and stare at me, then meow.
The cat only acknowledges my existence when he wants to eat.

If I disappear......they ate me.

It is drizzling out
I checked weather.com to see where the rain is and if I should walk Rusty now.
Weather map says it isn't raining.

weather.com needs a window in their office.

The national weather service had one. That is why.
