Klozit, I am praying for your family.

KtC when you get a chance post some pictures of the party. I bet that will be a while! What day does Orc leave?

AZ, the letter thread is a little off now. We both posted at the same time.

KtC, glad Orc was able to stay around for V3's birthday party. Safe travels to him and your friend. I'm hoping the kids sleep well for you and you get to have a no headache week.

Evening everyone. Just a drive-by since I have some work to get done. Enjoy your evening.

I did that once and I got a post back, something to the effect they really weren't interested in my cold.

Good news tonight, it seems the ex's spring break is a week before ours this year so our paths won't cross and even better we won't have to wrestle the grandaughter out of her claws !

We were excited 1) We don't have to share
2) A potentially awkward/uncomfortable situation is avoided.
Actually Mrs. Ice and the former Mrs. Ice exchanged emails yesterday and they were very cordial....I'm not sure I like this :/

Giants won!
I am one step closer to seeing a Superbowl ring!

Maybe.
If one of my nieces is graduating this year. Which they aren't.
Guess the Giants need to go to the Superbowl again when the youngest niece in brother in laws family graduates.

What would your niece graduating have to do with a Superbowl ring?

Oh, I know what that is. I read it yesterday. I'll go find her post about the ring.

Edit: Here it is.

Hmm, that's not what I was looking for. I thought it was on that page but I can't find it now. If I remember correctly the niece goes to the school where she would see the owner at graduation.

My brother in law lives next door to John Mara, co owner of the Giants.
His wife runs the rescue we got Rusty from.

We need a party that family and neighbors are invited to. Which would be graduation.

It has been decided that John Mara and family are the nicest, most down to earth, rich people we have ever met.
He was born rich too, which usually makes people even more arrogant.

Their house is large, but on a normal piece of land. There are many bigger in that neighborhood.

He is the one I told, if your kid goes to NYU, they meet rich kids and spend money like crazy. (I had heard this from parents at our school. Doctor and lawyer kid. Lets face it, you can spend crazy money in Manhattan. )

When I went home, I realized that I just told the partner of a guy (Tisch) who has schools at NYU named after him, that the kids would meet up with rich kids! His kids are the rich kids!

But he actually said " That is something to consider."

That party was right after the Giants won the Superbowl and everyone was checking out the ring.

btw, the rest of the neighbors are totally stuck up.

Yeah, good thing they live 1500 miles apart. But the tension needs to be at a minimum for the sake of the grandaughter. Turns ot the ex thinks highly of Mrs. Ice(acording to my daughter) so it must be me that weirds her out

On another topic, I just got back from the doc and diabeties, blood pressure and chloresterol are all under control.I've lost 30+ lbs. since November. I want to lose 10 more and I'll be right where I want to be.

That is odd.

I'm guessing there was no overlap. That is usually where the trouble comes from.

A different brother in law's 2nd wife was really upset when he cheated on her.

Did it go away?
Hubby was pre diabetic and lost 10 pounds and it went away.
His dad is diabetic and was just normal overweight (30 lbs?) when he first got it. The weight didn't make a difference. He is exactly the right weight now, but still uses insulin.

Hubbies problem is he loves carbs.

I don't know what her problem is...no one cheated (as far as I know) I didn't even meet Mrs. Ice until a year after the divorce and 2 years after we were separated.
