Actually they did name the guy (Zachariasen) in the photo credit as well as in the actual paper (unfortunately stuck behind a paywall) the linked article is reporting on.

Evening!

Eldest went to a school dance (in middle school, seems weird to me), so the youngest and I assembled a wooden preying mantis, ate pizza, and watched Kung Fu Panda II (again).

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday!

Yes. Check her out, she's probably got some stuff on YouTube. She's been on Comedy Central and all the late shows and is the only comedian not to be challenged on Last Comic Standing.

I just looked her up. She looks familiar. I think I've seen some of her stuff. No TX on her tour though.

Good morning everyone. Update on sil - he was quite discouraged on Tuesday when his bloodwork was not improved. Tests yesterday were a tiny bit better, and he wrote the following:

Friends and Family,

"I want to first start by thanking you all for your extremely positive and uplifting notes, prayers, thoughts and offers to help after my latest post. It was overwhelming, in a positive and motivational way. I have to admit that I had a tough day, emotionally, on Wednesday. I am much better now and owe that in large part to all of you. I am also feeling better, and I was told today, don't look as yellow.
I had more blood work this afternoon and reviewed the results with my oncologist. I'm very happy to report that my bilirubin counts are going down (Thank you, Jesus)!"

Thank you from me to all of you for your support! And your continuing good thoughts for him.

I couldn't translate it either. Figured it out by seeing it on the tv. Which is, of course, in the ligging room.

Because Mrs. Ice's uncle installed a new door and frame (which he messed up and I'll have to fix)a few months ago. He didn't think that it might need, oh I don't know, a door knob, latch and a strike plate. Right now there is just a hole. It is a little embarassing when a guest in the living room can see what is going on in the bathroom because that hole is right at eye level when the guest is seated.
