Already the upcoming election has driven the shirt.woot writers to the edge(this is driven to the edge thinking, right?).

In other news, I think this is a great "Cat in the Hat" tee. Was disappointed, Woot, that you made weird freak jokes about Lincoln instead of going the opposite route, having the hat make him a cool (jazz?) cat before his time.

As an aside, currency on which 'In God We Trust' is marked out is often rejected by the machines that strap cash into stacks. It is considered mutilated and is eventually destroyed.

Same thing goes for those obnoxious 'Where's George' stamps. I've even seen people write it by hand on twenties. Grrr...

This shirt seems disrespectful... I'm not sure one of the greatest US Presidents should be portrayed in this manner... but I'm sure there those who find it cute, most likely the same folks who admire Castro.

shirt.woot, I am disappoint. It takes a lot for me to NOT want to own a Lincoln shirt, and yet between the bizarre image and downright terrible write up, you've managed it. Tisk tisk.

1. Your comment is not even backed up by the Woot map.

2. Offhand, I don't remember even ONE other "Abe Lincoln" shirt offered on Woot, let alone the SEVERAL you seem to imply when you write, "every time he's on a shirt, the heatmap for the southern states goes dark. Reliable as rain."

3. Judging by the majority of the comments, it seems that most non-purchasers are put off by the write-up, not Mr. Lincoln.

I'm not sure if you were attempting humor or a legitimate insult to people from the south, but either way...
