Gorgeous! I agree that the boxy edges, particularly along the top, detract attention from the design a bit. But it is beautiful.

Thanks for the compliment. I always think everyone looks great in gray but then again I do like gray.

Here's hoping it gets printed elsewhere if it doesn't win or get an editors pick. This is my FAVE.

And my gods if this prints I am buying it instantly! One of my favorite shirts to come up in a while! I just love Orange/Yellow/Teal/Blue colour combinations. This is well designed, well drawn, and I frikken love the placement. GMV!

It could possibly be why the title is purposely written as "Waiting for the suB" and not "Waiting for the Sub" ;)

It's STUNNING.
And I've always had a soft spot in my heart for mermaids and sirens =)

Actually it's very fair since Derby winners are chosen solely on votes. It discourages people (and bots) from creating multiple accounts to sway the voting results. Even 20 extra votes can make a big difference. Stick around until you find a shirt you like enough to buy and you can vote all you want.

Unfortunately, this design will be rejected because it's not on a shirt template.

You know...I hadn't believed that this was going to be the year the world ended until now. A RamyB post with NO hate?! The end is nigh.

Seriously, though. I recently went to the Georgia Aquarium and my favorite tank was the one with the jellyfish. They had a fantastic ephemeral, translucent beauty that this shirt captures elegantly. I wonder if it will print as pretty?
