I'm a woman too, and have a woot yellow shirt...it's not see-through at all, despite the fact that it fits very closely & is particularly stretched by my broad shoulders. I have a horror of showing bra straps - even the raised texture of them beneath a shirt - and I've been able to wear my yellow shirt braless without problems. It's not even a little bit sheer, not remotely. My white shirts, I could MAYBE wear braless, but I'm too clumsy with my drinks to risk it. :P
I like the cut of the shirts, too (except for the narrow shoulders, grr). I noticed they changed it recently, and it seems even better fitting/more flattering now than before.
