The end is nigh! If the ancient prophecies are to be believed, 2012 brings ominous portents. Goats shall be born with the heads of different goats! Humanity shall expect intermittent flurries of brimstone with a chance of hellfire! Foul abominations shall stalk the basic cable schedule! People shall use words like "nigh"!

There's one question you should be asking yourself: when the end comes, what will you be wearing?

Presenting Apocalypse Soon, the shirt event that will have you Arma-gettin' dressed to Ragna-rock that end-of-the-world look. We've brought back a variety of our classic apocalyptic designs for (obviously) a limited time. Apocalypse Soon will run through 11:59 PM Sunday, January 22. Orders will begin shipping on January 25. You can pay for faster shipping but it won't be close to "overnight".

Now, on with the beginning of the end!

Spend like there's no tomorrow! A big fat bank account won't be any good to you when it all comes crashing down, will it? If you'd prefer to ignore the imminent demise of everything we've ever known, that's cool, too: we'll have another weekly Shirt.Woot sale event on the blog next week. Assuming we're all still here.

I personally like this new direction woot is working by adding a cycle of limited long sleeve tees and hoodies and such to the rotation.

However, my wallet is likely to die of malnutrition at this rate.

Oh, and the tee's are showing that they are still "Reckoned." Is there a fix coming soon to that?

Very soon. Those tees are the trickiest to get back online, but rest assured we have people on top of it.

EDIT: OK check 'em now.

Looks good, seems like they're all working. Now I have a week to see how my bank account would be if I threw an "Energy Harvester" shirt at it.

Oh, and can we expect to see a little popped up link for this Apocalyptic sale on the home page like we did for the Winter Workout sale?
People seem to be missing the sidebar stuff today.

I would look for that very soon as well.

Does anybody have any pictures of the long sleeved tees they'd like to share (aside from the one at the end of the show us your woot thread)?

I like the idea of the long sleeve t-shirts and hoodies but I don't know if my extra long arms would ever look respectable in them. So sad.

The sleeves are pretty long for the long sleeve t-shirts, in my opinion. Take a long-sleeve you have and measure and then check in the sizing-chart, if you might get lucky.
The hoodies probably won't work out for you.

Boo. They never have the designs I like in the t's, and I'm just not sure how I feel about printed long sleeves and hoodies :/ Tempted to try one out though...

You can't take it with you! So why not perish in style, with my long-sleeved Survivor / Survival horror tee?

If the Mayan cataclysm doesn't rain fiery death down on us before Feb.15th, then you can enjoy the new series of the show wearing it too. Bonus!

Is the Monday daily t-shirt always going to match the weekly sale's theme?

I should replace my copy of "Tuesday is gonna be rough" that got ruined... thanks for the opportunity, Woot!

I woke up this morning, saw the e-mail, and was extraordinarily excited that I might get a chance to purchase pandamonium. After all, it won the "End of the World" derby, so makes perfect sense, right?

Then I visited the page and my heart sank. Sadness

I was really hoping the designs would be available on a regular T, or a hoody. Who buys long sleeve T-Shirts anymore!

Booo, I am overcome with need for multiple shirts and hoodies but can't figure out how to order multiple at once to save on shipping? Help?

You can't.

Just curious...is there any way to make all the designs chosen for these weekly sales available in all 3 formats (long sleeve, short sleeve, or hoodie) so that folks in different climates can have a choice? I have no need for long sleeve shirts or hoodies, but it seems you choose the designs I want for those, but not for the short sleeves.

I really don't want to sound like a whiner, because I'm loving these sales.

Hello and welcome to woot! Here's a thread with a little more explanation/discussion on purchasing multiple items and frequency.

I ran into the same dilemma until I realized that shipping is free in the US. Not only that but some shirts ship faster. If they shipped all at once the order would be delayed. The only drawback is the environmental impact of extra non-biodegradable packing materials if you're into that sort of thing. Woot is awesome and delivers fresh Texas air with nearly every ordered Bag of Cuuuuuute!.

Do you hear that? It's my wallet screaming in terror.

Good stuff, I really appreciate the long sleeves and the hoodies. I frequently find myself picking an awesome Woot shirt to wear, and then having to put a sweater over it as I get cold easily (I blame my mom for that particular set of genes). So now I can wear the awesome on the outside.......and I don't feel like I'm flashing people when they ask what shirt I'm wearing under my hoodie (I'm known for my great shirts, which are almost all from here).

So what's with dropping the 3XL?

I love woot shirt gear, but I'm lazy and just dry them, so they shrink. I buy 3XL and they stay comfy even after my laundry habits.

2XL is not going to cut it.

2XL is all that has been offered in the long sleeved tees and hoodies. 3XL is still an option for tees.

It's not woot, it's the shirt makers.

Gah, yes. I have no need of hoodies, or more to the point I would never wear one. Guess what the designs I'm interested in are printed on! Poo.

I agree, I kinda wish that this one would have been printed as well. I got it a when it first came out, but the pudginess fairy has visited me the past year and a half and I need a size up.

On the other hand, as that's not an option, I get to keep my $25...
