Those for sure, but right now I have a surprise shirt in the bottom 7 (it's not any of the super-long-timers). Keep in mind , though, that my predictions are based on 1 day's sales. 1 day out of 7 with a woot-off thrown in to mix up the numbers.

Is anyone else marveling at how well the editors' choice of Walmazan's "Motivation" is doing? That bacon jogger has run his way up to second place!

Well, moreso ended up in 2nd place, but such is definitely NOT typical for a 30th place EC, both in quantity and longevity.

At the rate things are going, I wonder if use your melon can put up enough sales to stay ahead of the pack this week- We might end up in a situation where neither ninjas nor zombies are in danger (although there are still a couple of threatening noobs down there that might put up a fight later in the week)

Last week we lost He'll Probably Be Okay, and Acquired Taste's rally isn't carrying over into this week. Unless something changes, this week the Zombie will fall.

On the other hand UnNinjaI looks like it will continue it ascent, UnNinjaII is safe, and Shhhhh will probably debut at #1.

You may be right, I think a lot of people who threw their support behind Acquired Taste last week just don't have the funds (or will) to do so again this week. Unless the zombies get some fresh meat in their sights, this will be their last week. Sigh, no one year anniversary for them.

This may indeed be the case. That's not to say that some of us haven't done such stunts for our favorite artists, but typically, getting a duplicate is enough for many folks.

FWIW, the last "I-want-to-make-it-to-one-year-but-I-didn't" shirt was School; it fell in #193. The next closest happened the week after with Fresh Cake.

Watching Acquired Taste AND Unstealthiest Ninja struggling for survival is almost too much for me. So very sad right now.

Two noobs still have some potential ... this Monday may end up being even more of a battle than last Monday.

Using Your Melon looks like it's in danger as well. I would not be surprised to see it dip into the Danger Zone over the weekend.

Not necessarily. The thing about newer shirts is that since there are less days to factor through, they can get by on lower sales figures too.

So say you have a 3rd place derby winner on Sunday, and it just so happens that for that week, a DSR of 16 is needed for survival. It would only need 120 sales (16 * 7.5 days) through the week to survive. OTOH, a veteran would need 448 sales through its 28 days to survive; if its first three weeks were lackluster, it will need a stellar 4th week to make it up.

In the case of Unstealthiest Ninja, its three weeks were a (+110), (+90), and a (+70). The three weeks for Acquired Taste were (+72), (+81), and (+166). Schrödinger’s Equation has (+88), (+83), and (+132). Whatever they sell this week will make up the total for their 28 days.

Using Your Melon has a (+105) and a (+82), but inclusive of this week, will only have 17-1/2 days to factor.

Originally, I thought that Shhhhhhh, was going to take the top spot away from The Dark Knight. But now I think that Dark Knight will have already been dethroned by Motivation.

At least until the end of the week I would say, considering there is nothing in the danger zone that seems threatening at the moment. And in the case of the zombies at least, we should see a pretty big jump next week considering they will be losing a pretty bad week of sales.
