They both look great, I like how it pops on the Kelly Green shirt.

I would drop the "not intended for consumption" disclaimer and maybe make a more folksy title, like "Betcha never had a cup o' joe as strong as Uncle Jake's!" Maybe add something to that effect as a caption on the mug instead of the headline.

I got the idea from the Holy Grail. however unlike all my friends i have yet to play skyrim so i guess it could work for that also?:P

Not really.... the bunnies in skyrim are all pretty helpless. The game even tracks how many you've slaughtered. Weird that bunnies are the only animal it tracks.

I'm finding that the more wide open a derby, the more difficulty I have coming up with an idea.

I put this one together. It's text, but the text doesn't convey the meaning, the context does--hopefully that can please the rejectionator.

The placard seems a little bit uninspired. Perhaps if you put some perspective on the text?
Also- is it a hair ball, or twine? Not that it needs to be one or the other to work, but I would imagine twine would have directionality to the way its raveled (it looks tangled). And if it is twine, perhaps you could have a cat tugging on the end like it would a ball of yarn.

I only say so because you ask- its a really good design.

It's probably hard to see that the text is drawn, not a crisp font. I will try it out with a little perspective though.

I had another thought. Since it is indeed a hair ball, maybe it would still have drool dripping and pooling around it? Would add a little bit of gross, which may not be preferable, but it could be funny.

And maybe a cat, overcome with the sight, is hacking up his own hairballs off to the side.

edit: Hackett! that is funny.

I put a suggestion of pit-stains, though maybe they could use more definition with shading. I submitted already, though. Hope the shirt is pit-stainy enough.

*edit oh, did you mean on the actual shirt? If so, I think you'd have to make those yourself since the print area doesn't go far enough.

I have an idea but I can't draw. You're welcome to it. In jr and sr high I was the kid most likely to be hit in the head with a piece of sports equipment. I picture this kid cowering with all sorts of sports stuff aimed at him/her in the fashion of War Games. (dotted trajectory lines)
