I don't normally go for cute shirts, since I need to protect my "manly" image, but if this comes up, I have a feeling that I'll buy it and wear it with pride.

I thought the shirt idea was pretty original (sure, there are a lot of these variations but this one is especially original because Woot makes shirts). This is well executed, but I wouldn't wear it though.

"Insect Who's Who" is My Derby submission this week. The insect world is filled with dubious honors and my design details a few of them presented in the form of a Who's Who section of an insect yearbook . The design is done in black and white and is designed to have a comic strip feel to it. I threw in a few little ants just for fun to help carry the comic strip and a few ink droplets. The design ran long on process and short on time but I wanted to submit it anyway just to see how well it did. Hope you find it entertaining.

There's a lot of Bill Watterson influence in this design - makes me want it all the more. Put shoulder-length black hair on Luke and you've got Calvin's mother. GMV for sure.

Cute stuff! I just have one quibble: The Paul Stanley panda's nose is so far down, it looks like a smiling mouth. It's the only one like that and, now I can't unsee it. Otherwise, loving the references. Nice job!

Someone has done Who's Who Insects before in a comic? I'd never seen it done,that's why I did it. If you've seen it before please link it. I'd like to see it.
