I think it's the editors indirectly saying "more art, less turbunguins, less pop culture." Kinda like this write up.

I tend to agree. It struck me as a NCIS-style slap on the back of the head. Odd, since this is one of the prettiest things ramyb's done.

was surprised to see Pizza Kraken on the list...There were so many entries that had much higher numbers than it got. Guess it just goes to show it's not always about how many people like your design or how many votes you get. Nice one as always Winter Artwork!
