The phoenix is sporting a mo-HAWK. BAAHAHAHA puns are awesome.
Ugh, where is BREATHING!? This was funny/cleaver, but not wearable...sigh...
If the zombie had been the Doctor, this would've been a sure buy for me.
I see that the zombie won a brain for taking third place, but what did the pheonix and the cat win for winning their respective places?
Except, in that case, the Doctor would be second.
I hate to quibble, but in reality, a Zombie has more than 2 lives. As Shane pointed out in The Walking Dead, a zombie can "survive" a wound, such as a bullet to the heart, that would kill a normal person. So you could fire 10 bullets into a zombie that would kill a person, yet the zombie would still keep walking.

But the doctor would have taken 2nd place over the cat, and the cat would take third because Time Lord's have 12 regenerations.
(sorry to out nerd you there)
That cat looks absolutely thrilled,
Condition: Rising Up
This must be a description of the 12 dollars they are asking for this t-shirt. D:
E; Didn't know they were going up.

I had thought of clarifying that, but, that would've been too wordy. I knew the Doctor would displace the cat, but that's only fair. I mean, he's the Doctor!
Still, cats have the benefit of being liked by Death, so, you know, that's always a nice fringe benefit.
When did the price go up to $12? I might not be buying any more shirts
I know it's suppossed to be a pile of ashes at the pheonix's feet, but I keep seeing it as a pile of poo. If that's the prize for first, and a brain is the prize for third, then I would call the cat the real winner of this contest.
I...I don't get it.

You still have Saturday and Sunday...
This shirt is awesome, congrats on the win guys!
I think we just matched the total sales of yesterday's shirt!
The phoenix is adorable. However, the zombie...I just don't know. There's something...off about it O.o This whole shirt screams cute, but that zombie is just very unnerving for some reason.
Fawkes! Come back!!!
i had to do some number crunching, but now i get it.
Another "would buy it, but....." shirt.
Definitely agree that the Doctor wins out over the zombie AND the cat.

You could also fire 10 bullets into a human wearing a bullet proof vest and they would survive. That does not count as expending a life.
Corporations are people, but zombies are not. A person dies and then becomes a zombie and that is the second life. It doesn't matter if those 10 bullets would kill a person, the point is that those bullets will not kill a zombie unless it's a headshot.
When did shirts become $12?
Is winning a derby with a shared shirt a dubious honor by itself?

More than a week late to the party I see:
I wish the numbers (infinity sign, 9, 2) were a bit bigger. They're really tiny to see, and without them, the shirt is harder to understand.
Clever! I like it!
Three of my favorite things in the world. :')
I really love the concept... congrats!
I really enjoy that this discussion immediately addresses the most important issue here: The Doctor vs a cat.

Actually, they might, as the force of the bullet still hits you. But a zombie is not wearing a vest. The bullet hits and tears through flesh.

she just had a phoenix for breakfast, so she needs a little nap (i hope it doesn't give her heartburn!)
grats to the artists on their win, and to myself on my new acquisition ;)
I don't get the "doctor" discussions. Who is that and why would he beat out a cat with nine lives to take 2nd place? I fear I'm losing my nerdy edge :_(
A small quote from the write up. "That artistry is what the truly makes the phoenix a champion."
I completely agree that The Doctor is missing from this shirt. Sadly. I would have bought multiples if he had been given his place of honor.

Well, I've least I've learnt cats have nine lives in English. They have just seven in Spanish...
Our first runner-up, the human race. Give yourselves a hand, homosapiens. And in fifth place the process of radioactive decay... because it has a half-life.
Alright, shut down the ceremony. Things are getting ugly.
"Who is that" indeed. Dr. Who of BBC fame, that's Who.
