Pikachu couldn't evolve unless you had a lightning stone... So you'd kinda have to force your friend into evolving. (and if you ask me forcing someone into something against their will is worse than letting them make a mistake)

What are the copyrights on the pokemon characters?

I once ordered my rats to fight for me. All they did was pee on my leg. :\ They can be persuaded with Fruit Loops though.

Awesome write-up! However, I still have no sympathy for the "rival" character from the games. He always took the creature that was "super effective" against the one the player picked. "BUTTFACE" is an accurate nickname.

In all seriousness, I always felt sorry for Pokemon. You keep them in these little balls, then force them to fight on your whim? It's a bit dastardly.

If Pikachu knew Thunder Smash, this would never happen.

I've never really understood how something like this would for sure get rejected in the derby but shows up as a non derby shirt. And Nintendo is VERY lawyer happy when it comes to pokemon.

Up till now I thought this was a mostly kid friendly place, but geez. Definitely not buying this, would make every kid I come across cry.

They've printed one before, you must have missed Exercise, some motivation required, which is an old favorite of mine.

Parody is protected under the Fair Use Limitation/Exception. It has nothing to do with the Constitution. I'd suggest that you read up on this if you're going to be an expert on copyright infringement.
