me too! someone said "bruce willis' son"... but I was thinking the man that married bruce's ex-wife.

That settles it: Ashton Kutcher will play Steve Jobs in the inevitable movie.

Just an FYI.. in the Colored dots on the bottom right (your color reference chart) you missed the Purple that you use in the rainbow.

Re: 1980 - Pacman

thinking about actually wearing this i think the design should be a little smaller as the game board will start wrapping around the body not enabling people to see the full design from the front without having to start looking at your sides ... i think smaller would be better in this instance.

I love the design and all, but the rules were no text. Doesn't this shirt break that rule? (Yah, I'm a noobie here, so think about that before flaming me! )

Tarento,

Actually, the rule is no text only designs. There must be a graphic element such as the floppy disk or star. No rule breaking here.

I'm glad you like the design,

Firefrogh

Thanks so much for all the comments, everyone! I haven't entered a derby in a while and they are nice to come back to.

@meedox - Jim Flora is one of my favorites, too!

@mrwednesday - Truthfully, I hadn't even considered the diagonal as an issue. It just seemed to be the natural way to draw it...

r3mix3r wrote:what is the text on the computers screen its too small a picture for me to read it.

..it's intentionally illegible...

..it's supposed to represent the start up screen that would say something along the lines of, "The IBM Personal Computer DOS Version..." etc.. I was trying not to include anything that would point specifically to a brand or product, so i thought it would be better to leave the text ambiguous, as opposed to trying to come up with something cleverly comparable to the actual words...

:-)

I didn't use Purple in the rainbow - the halftone band at the top is a close-up of the "purple" band, which is a mix of blue and red.

Astronomer is correct (about the "dark side of the moon", but the joke isn't really funny if you don't call it that... artistic license and all...

I was about 6 years old when it crashed. I remember so many news stories and hype about it, that my 6 year old self was terrified that it would crash on me. Even seeing pictures of Skylab would make me panic, even years later. I still find it spooky.

Naw, it's just 1989 with a zero. I wasn't vain enough to include my birthday.

And yes, yes, I know, THE STOMACH, I'm sorry. It's mostly meant to be like, an ultrasound picture, which appears on a screen far, far away from one's stomach, as opposed to an X-ray shot or similar. =P I hadn't realized this would become such a thing.
