Congrats!
Didn't you have a couple of collaborative prints with Anna-Marie Jung?
(e.g. Revenge of the Damsels for one)

Wow, a Mario shirt I would actually wear. Nice job!

So, what's with each of the numbers? Does the chicken scratch at the bottom correspond to those somehow?

Loved it until I took a closer look and saw the flying turtles and angry mushrooms. It's a lovely design, but I'm so sick of Mario references.

I did! I've worked on a few collaborations with the ever talented Anna-Maria Jung, including the Revenge of the Damsels shirt. Thanks for remembering : D

The chicken scratch is a reference to old botanical prints from the 1800s which would frequently have the latin names of the plant depicted written in really fancy, spidery font. I attempted to mimic that with the chicken scratch.

Yep, I also thought it was Little Shop of Horrors and was all set to buy it.

Eh, I don't have a creme shirt yet. Plus, it's nice to see a SMB shirt that's not on green. Add to that the fact that Woot is changing t-shirt suppliers and I'm thinking stocking up now is a good idea.

Being a theatre geek and not a gamer, I thought it was Audrey II also!

Ah, yes I remember this from TeeFury's Facebook page. (Seriously stumped me for a bit as to why it was so familiar.)

Nice design, which is why I voted for it! Though, I definitely thought it was a "Little Shop of Horrors" thing at first glance.

Changing Tshirt suppliers?? Say it isn't so? I love the way AA shirts fit me...I realize I am among the minority there.

Love the print, but I'm way to pale to wear cream, and way too clumsy to keep a pastel clean for more than 10 minutes.

@sarahat & @thumperchick: Where are you seeing info on changing tshirt suppliers? I'd LOVE for Woot to switch to a sturdier shirt. I hate the drapey-ness of AA shirts. On a less than lithe body, they look horrible!

I like the Super Mario references. I think this is a very nice and unique take on the game. Great job!

flying turtles ftw. I'd buy if it were $10.

Ok, this is some trippy s**t right here. If I was high, this shirt would be some serious eye candy.

When I first saw today's Woot, it immediately made me think of Jillustration's 'The Looking Glass Garden': http://shirt.woot.com/friends.aspx?k=22378 ...if that helps.

Very Awesome shirt.

I'm not manly enough to wear "creme" however.

[AUDREY II]
Feed me! Feed me! Feed me!
Feed me, Seymour
Feed me all night long
That's right, boy
You can do it
Feed me, Seymour
Feed me all night long
'Cause if you feed me, Seymour
I can grow up big and strong

Would you like a Cadillac car?
Or a guest shot on Jack Paar?
How about a date with Hedy Lamarr?
You gonna git it.

Would you like to be a big wheel,
Dinin' out for every meal?
I'm the plant that can make it all real
You gonna git it

I'm your genie, I'm your friend
I'm your willing slave
Take a chance, just feed me and
You know the kinda eats,
The kinda red hot treats
The kinda sticky licky sweets
I crave

Come on, Seymour, don't be a putz
Trust me and your life will surely rival King Tut's
Show a little 'nitiative, work up the guts
And you'll git it

[SEYMOUR]
I don't know. I don't know
I have so, so many strong reservations
Should I go and perform mutilations?

[AUDREY II]
Think about a room at the Ritz
Wrapped in velvet, covered in glitz
A little nookie gonna clean up your zits
And you'll git it

[SEYMOUR]
Gee I'd like a Harley machine,
Toolin' around like I was James Dean,
Makin' all the guys on the corner turn green

[AUDREY II]
So go git it
If you wanna be profound
And you really gotta justify
Take a breath and look around
A lot of folks deserve to die

[SEYMOUR, AUDREY II]
If you want a rationale
It isn't very hard to see
Stop and think it over, pal
The guy sure looks like plant food to me.

[SEYMOUR]
He's so nasty, treatin' her rough,

[AUDREY II]
Smackin' her around and always talkin' so tough.

[SEYMOUR, AUDREY II]
You (I) need blood and he's got more than enough

[AUDREY II]
So go git it!

Since I already spent the time figuring it out, I might as well post here.

First line: pygocentrus(first half of red-bellied piranha). Note may be show as pygocentus, but that is common enough variation
Second line: dionea muscipula - venus fly trap
Third line: amanita muscaria - fly agaric
Fourth line: chrysemys picta - painted turtle
Fifth line: nattereri (second half of red-bellied piranha)

Oh man, please do! I think something like that could snag a good amount of first-time buyers too, especially if marketed correctly. People love that sort of thing. I remember in high school (graduated '07) they did Little Shop of Horrors for a play and all the kids were super pumped.
