Ditto on the year. Was wondering if there was a significance to it but 1998 feels to recent on a "pirate" shirt.

Cool! I would say make it purple jelly, put it on brown and leave in the arr.

Had a stoopid thought, though, based on the title - No Quarter Given. I envisioned a recalcitrant vending machine refusing to give change. Must be the fact that I have to use the damned things periodically in my government office setting. Must. Have. Cheezits.

Inorite? Radicchio is redder. Reddish. The "red" purple cabbage is sweeter. But either way, purple on a taco is w.r.o.n.g.

Definitely brown. Black is too stark (said Rocker Chick). I dunno, a red jelly stain isn't that traumatic. Make it a cranberry color or some other berry-red. The joke will definitely carry.

I like the 'ARRR' the best. It reads really quickly and smacks you right in the face with the pirate part of the joke. ^_^
